Today was a day of small triumphs. The temperature of Greggs sausage rolls can be a bit of a gamble due to tax reasons, a saga I won't bore you with now.
However, on a recent excursion to Greggs in Holborn, I struck gold. As I ordered a sausage roll, the kind lady behind the counter forewarned, "Mind how you go, this one's a tad too hot."
There are moments that are grand, moments you tirelessly chase, yet they elude your grasp. And then, there are moments like this, unanticipated yet profoundly gratifying. I felt like an observer, witnessing this small yet significant victory unfold.

Crowded place with plenty of staff but still takes some time until you get your order. It is very hot und a bit steamy inside with (feels like) no ventilation. The coffee is very good.

Clean and quick service. Toilet was a bit wierd with a hole where the key is meant to go and you can see right into the shop but, it was clean and easy to use.

Can't beat Gregg's. The vegan sausage roll is delicious. I get the tuna crunch sandwich with a coffee sometimes for work and it's the perfect combo. Very reasonable too!

Excellent prices, freshness and service. I had a quick bite and a rest for the feet on my way to the Holborn station.

Food can be cold but the courtesy and customer care is really genuine and feels as though You are really being cared for.
Prices are great for west end.
If the hot food issue can be solved Greg's will dominate by bringing an unmatchable Service at a price that is amazing.
Profits are not all that's sought from customers and we're not being extorted as we are by other fake charity coffee shops who claim they are charging so much because they want to eradicate homelessness and give water to drought ridden Brothers and sisters ; whilst avoiding Tax!!
