The food is really good, Not too crowded, they let me pay with cash & card which was very convenient for me considering I had to get rid of a lot of change Don’t be afraid to ask for a spoon there, I heard someone scratching their plate because they didn’t know how to use their cutlery, But don’t worry about that, it was only 1 customer They are quite a nice place, quite expensive But hey, they gotta make their money somehow

I've eaten here before and the food is lovely. This time, I ordered a sourdough sandwich of bacon and lettuce with tea. It was delicious but came on a plate which was full of chips. I did not order these, nor was I told at the till that this sandwich comes with chips. I sighed and said to the guy, "I didn't want chips." He smiled and shrugged his shoulders whilst backing away. I was expecting him to say "sorry I will remove those for you." Instead, he came back with a takeout box. I was not happy. I enjoyed my lunch, which was a treat to myself. I left the box of chips on the table. I really do like this place, so I shall return. However, I will need to be clearer in my ordering next time.

I've been using this place for the past 6 years. I've lived and worked in the east end on and off in that time and can honestly say that this is my favourite local cafe

In all the time I've lived and worked in the East end this cafe has been my favourite. The previous owner was friendly and helpful and the current owners are continuing in the same vein

I went for a ham cheese omelette fries but could not finish it a bit boring the fries weren't cooked enough the late wasn't great the orange juice would have been great with a bit of ice. The waitress was welcoming and efficient.
