Great Sunday roast, and catered well to gluten intolerance too! Nice selection of wines and friendly staff- nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely make a return visit!

Our dinner out at the Nightingale was in incredible! We were travelling to London from Canada and I made a reservation because I had a feeling the food would be great. It was a little ways away from where we were staying, but it was well worth the trip. The pub was the quintessential beautiful, cozy English pub. We split a Scotch Egg (tasty!), my husband had the Fisherman's pie, and I had the Cumberland sausages with mashed potatoes and a rich gravy. We loved every bite! This is the kind of place you want to curl up in on an rainy London day. I can only imagine how festive it is around the Christmas holidays! If we lived in the neighborhood, we would go all the time. Thank you Nightingale!!

My wife and I were visiting from Canada and we had an amazing experience at The Nightingale!!! We were sat by the fireplace and felt it was so cosy and charming. The food was the best pub food we had on our trip and the staff we interacted with were kind and genuinely cared about our experience. We hope to return on a future trip!

If Morley's and chicken cottage had a baby you would find it at the Nightingale. The chicken wings were absolutely fantastic! They were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce had just the right balance of sweet and spicy flavours, making each bite incredibly delicious. It was an unforgettable culinary experience!

Super friendly pub for locals and random like me to visit. We gathered here to watch rugby and were not disappointed by outdoor screen and sound, plus easy order of beer and food through the Youngs app. Cosy indoors too.

Very nice pub. Food (had fish and chips) was excellent. There is a wide selection of beers. I had the Gipsy Hill Hepcat (a local fav for me), which was £6.90 (July 2023). Lovely outside seating area. Definitely one of the nicest pubs in the area.

We say in the newly refurbished garden area which was really lovely. The pub itself is really cosy with a lovely atmosphere but when the sun is out the garden area is the place to sit. We were able to order our food online from our table which I found very convenient. There were 3 of us (as well as our dog) and we all had a Sunday roast with a couple of side dishes. All 3 were absolutely delicious with very generous helpings. There was a good selection of vegetables with each roast. I will certainly go back to this pub, be it for a drink or to eat. Absolutely loved it and the prices were reasonable too. The landlord and the rest of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend!!

A very cool pub, bit of a walk to get too but worth it, fairly busy and a bit pricey. But the foot is fantastic, one of the best fidh and chips I have had in a while. Defernetly recommend the Chicken wings. 4.6/5

The Nightingale, funnily enough, on Nightingale Lane! A splendid venue by Young's & Co. A gorgeous bar with plenty of nooks and crannies in which to enjoy a beer or two. Lovely staff to help with the aforementioned task! There is a delightful covered garden terrace at the back with loads of seating. All in all a most delightful place to visit.
