This is a review for the collection and not the cafe. If you are interested in arms and armour at all, this is well worth a visit. Such a display of swords, armour, guns etc from all over the world and through the centuries.

I love the Wallace Collection, but this visit was the first time we visited the Wallace Café.
We arrived at lunchtime but they were happy for us just to have coffee and a cake.
The resteraunt has an open and airy feel, and although busy, it felt calm and a nice place to be.
The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Service was surprisingly quick. We discussed ordering croissants when the couple at the next table advised that we should share one as they were so big. They were indeed very large, and we agreed the best we had eaten.
The charges were reasonable given the location.
My only small criticism is that the coffee cups are on the small side.
Next time we visit the Wallace Collection, we will definitely have lunch.

First time having afternoon tea. £35 per person is quite expensive imo considering what they offer, but I guess that's the price for this experience. Tea was tasty and the service was good.
Location is good as well, and the atmosphere is lovely.

Very tasty, this destination was on my "London bucket list " and I was not disappointed. There were 4 of us and we forgot to book in advance. When we arrived, the very friendly waiters told us that it takes 1h until a table is free again.
So we passed the time in the Wallace Museum, which has a great selection of various very antique pieces.
The Afternoontea was great, we ate nothing before this teatime, nevertheless we did not feel hungry.
The tea I don't remember which one I took was very tasty. I will gladly visit you again.
By the way, this tea party takes place in a covered courtyard, so it's a perfect activity for a rainy day.✨

A fantastic option for if you want to catch up with someone in Mayfair. There's something about being in a museum or gallery which gets the creative juices going, even if it's a cafe in one! The price was reasonable compared to some others in the area.
We had the rose tea as part of our afternoon tea, which was wonderful. It was a very wet afternoon after the King's Coronation, and this was the perfect way to spend it.
Clotted cream is always good. The scones were warm and satisfying.
The Cafe is inside the gallery. The staff were good. The toilets are downstairs, the museum one's, and they are unisex.

£15.50 for two small coffees and one small cake.
The incredible collection, the masterly tour guide - all free.
A privilege just to stop into the building.
