The Oak W12

We haven’t been in a while (pre covid), but fancied a chilled night out with some friends and wanted to stray of the beaten track - really pleased to find that while the layout was slightly different it has maintained the same charm and atmosphere from years ago. The lightning was nice, little details that made it relaxed, a happy hour for early cocktails, and great food. I was with some Italians who commented that the pizza was divine , but equally a chicken dish hit the spot too. Also, the staff were very friendly and attentive - even with our 2 girls who had got dressed up for a night out with the parents; they made it easy. Thanks so much, will,definitely come back.,

Absolutely decadent meal. Millie our sever was a treat! She was present when you needed her and helpful with selection. Seb another delightful host was attentive and welcoming. Would 10/10 recommend to locals or visitors. We started with the veggie starter to share and had the sea bass and a margarita pizza. Really yum.

I love this restaurant it is a local gem and I have been coming here for some time. The Italian food is delicious with every element cooked precisely. The service is superb especially from newcomer Millie who looked after us tonight with real care and attention to every detail. It is a great example of genuine big hearted hospitality and I can't wait to go back. Thank you all ! Xx

We came here for a staff night out and the folks here couldn't have accommodated us better. Service, (Millie was amazing and so friendly) and the food was brilliant. So tasty. Wish I could have uploaded pics, but it was all gone in a flash. Generous portions. We will most certainly be back. Thanks guys!

Surprisingly good. Has all the elements I’m looking for in a pub with food and some I wasn’t expecting, such as a perfect octopus salad. It has a bright interior with a friendly ambience, outside space which is a bonus in these times but also large open windows, a huge variety of places to sit, from large family tables to smaller banquet style seating and its own pizza oven. I’ve been here a few times now. The mixed Tapas platter is a great starter and the fish is also really good. Haven’t tried the pizza yet. But the Chef and team are consistently producing top quality Mediterranean food backed up by easy going yet professional and efficient front of house and table service. All the usual drinks plus some seriously good cocktails. During the heatwave I appreciated that the rosé I ordered was perfectly chilled. I tend to eat out less these days so don’t worry about cost as much but The Oak has regular deals worth checking out.

We had a birthday party held in their private dining area. I have been to this restaurant for a few time but this is the first time that we are holding a big party with them . It was an amazing night with great food and service. The food was up to standard. Our guests were very happy . The service was amazing and Daniel who helped me organized everything from the first day had helped me so much as well. I really appreciate the team efforts to make our party perfect and wonderful . Most of our guests said they would love to go back again for their food and drinks. This is how satisfied that everyone was. Highly recommended restaurant with definitely affordable prices. We can’t wait to go bak again for some more nice food.
