We love this place. The food is great and there's a huge variety of dishes with plenty of spicy sechuan options. The greens are fresh, the meat is seasoned well and the flavours are delicious.
The staff are so nice and friendly and even let us stay late in the private room we hired because we were having such a good time.
The venue is great and the atmosphere is relaxed and cosy. We keep coming back 😊

Wow. Tucked away just near Upper Street is an amazing Hunanese-Chinese restaurant. With a mixture of western favourites and more authentic food, generous portions, reasonable prices and friendly service it's not to be missed. For most people one portion of the egg fried rice will cheerfully serve two. Do yourself a favour and order at least one item from the Hunanese section of the menu. Whether you are going for authentic or not - don't miss it!

Yipin by name yipin by nature. Yipin means top quality in Chinese and the food was definitely that. Classic tastes of Hunan and Sichuan provinces. Lots of deep flavours with plenty of chillies and Sichuan peppers to give that mala (numbing spice) feeling.
The staff are friendly and respectful and the space is clean. Tables are not placed too close to one another and we never felt rushed.

Had a casual lunch and really enjoyed the food. Don't be put off by the lack of décor! Everything was really well executed and had a note of quality about it. Lot's of regional options as well as the classics. I'd definitely go again. Service was warm and friendly.
