Food is great. 10% service charge added to the bill without asking. The staff could have been much more polite and took a long time to get hold of and we’re chatting to each other a lot so hard to get their attention so wouldn’t have tipped even if it wasnt already on the bill.

First time here since they refurbished the restaurant. Nicer layout, same great food. I went for the classic Cod and Chips, with Peas. Well presented, a good size portion. The chips were cooked perfectly and the fish was crispy.

I've walked by a few times before, but never had the chance to stop. The corner shop with the large, pristine window display and the bold, prominent name always caught my eye. This time, I finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the fish and chips from the lunch menu, along with some calamari. Despite being part of the lunch set, the presentation was exquisite. The portions were generous and satisfying. The batter had just the right texture, not overly floury or greasy. I must also mention the exceptional service. Both the chef and the lady at the front of the house consistently greeted us with warm smiles. A heartfelt thank you to them.

We went for dinner with some friends and me and my wife ordered pan fried haddock and others in our party ordered fish and chips. Our meal was amazing and we all were happy. Only minor issue was around wine we ordered which we received a more expensive wine than the one we ordered (by couple of pounds) which they didn’t charge us so all happy

Good option for takeaway or eat in. Friendly staff. Fresh fish, good chips, nice wedge of lemon. The tartare sauce was very bland. If you are hungry, order the Haddock as the Cod portion was much smaller. Recommended.

It’s ok, was it the best fish and chips I ever had? Certainly not. But it wasn’t bad either.

Perfect fish and chips, you could taste the fish is fresh. All cooked while you wait and serve hot. Not greasy at all. Friendly service, most enjoyable meal, worth every penny. Recommended and enjoy.

Staff very friendly although seem a slight bit disorganised at times. Good portion size and was made fresh. Reasonable prices and portion for London. Firstly chips very nice and cooked to perfection, fluffy, crispy and hot! Curry sauce was tasty and made perfectly. Although the fish was a good size and the batter cooked to perfection, sadly it didn't seem that fresh, it was quite tasteless, which indicates its been sitting around for a bit or potentially frozen prior, so for this I have reduced the stars by 1. Once you sort the freshness out with the fish, you'll be onto a winner but sadly this was a let down. Even though my fish wasn't perfect, I would definitely recommend. Maybe next time I'll give the Haddock a go. P.s the lemon wedges was a nice add on.
