Nags Head, Covent Garden

As first time visitors to London, we found Nags Head Restaurant and Pub in Covent Garden. More than pleasantly pleased does not describe our experience. The food was great, the atmosphere very eclectic but homey and the staff, Cameron and Maria outstanding. They made our lunch a delight. They asked about our stay, where from and any other plans for our vacation. Cameron checked our table multiple times to see if anything was needed, and Maria asked about the USA and what to expect if visiting. I would give this restaurant and experience a 10++.

It's Saturday evening and a few drinks before going to see The Lion King are in order!! And, its gloriously hot. Covent Garden is soooo busy with everyone having fun wandering around and enjoying themselves. There is a really good vibe ! The pub is very busy and we're fortunate to get a seat outside. The service from the staff was brilliant and very efficient considering the amount of people wanting to get served. It's a traditional London pub with so much character and history and well worth a visit. Plus it's fairly big compared to The White Lion opposite....

This is very busy pub, large premises with a noisy atmosphere even on a sunday evening. They have a large outside area during summertime for you to enjoy your beer. The place looks upscale but all the hustle and bustle lends it a divey atmosphere. Fully booked, people interested in a dinner were turned away. Not a place for quiet conversations but probably great for starting up the night.
