The decor is quite gloomy, not helped by the lighting. But the service is excellent, and the food shows real care and attention in the kitchen. As the menu changes often, don't know if these items will still be available, but if so, try the pork belly. This is a very difficult dish to get right. In many places, the pork is scorched to get crackling, while the fat remains underooked, or it is oversalted, or it becomes a flabby unattractive dish. Here, they get it just right. My guess is that there is some clever sous vide work to tenderise the meat in the kitchen. The wine steward really knows his wines and guided us to some lesser known wines to try. We were not disappointed. Freshly made on site excellent bread, and wonderful French butter was also a treat. How come French butter always tastes better than English? Anyway, we went for lunch, which is only available Friday and Saturday.Why not try it then as they have an interesting Prix fixe lunch?

I had 3 courses for lunch. The food was absolutely amazing, and with the price, it is absolutely worth paying. All dishes were well created and tasty. The beef wagyu dish was my favorite. It was well cooked and tasty. I went there with a friend who has just got promoted and the restaurant was really considerate by preparing the card for him. I will definitely book again :)

This lovely restaurant exceeded our expectations. We booked for birthday celebration, two of us for a romantic meal. We opted for the full taster menu experience …. From the moment we walked in to the relaxed and professional ambience ….. a lovely birthday card surprise and then the outstanding service received from our amazing top waiter and wine sommelier , these guys worked with amazing passion about the food and wine and gave a truly amazing customer experience . The food ! …. Wow ! Was absolutely amazing ….. every single mouthful was a special suprise and perfect in every way ….. just the right amount and balance …. Deserves a Michelin star ⭐️ ….. we can’t wait to re book and come back , we have talked about the food all the next day it was so good ….. thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable 🙏🏼 highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to any foodie

Beautiful fine dining experience. All expectations were met. Had the tasting menu and classic wine pairing. Everything cooked and presented to perfection. The only small minus was the dessert which even if delicious was too heavy to come at the end of a tasting menu. Highly recommended and worthy of a detour.
