What a lovely and friendly staff!
So yummy halloumi burger and fries. I loved the cosy and cute private space.
If you get a chance, give this place a try!!! You wouldn’t regret it!

Stumbled upon this amazing eatery by accident and very glad I did.
The burgers are amongst the finest I've ever had, cooked to perfection. The fries were yummy also.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
So glad I found this place.

If Carlsberg made burgers they would call it Caboose. In a court yard behind the Old Truman Brewery I was served One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Along with a smile the cheese burger special was recommended, and it delivered. A thick beef patty with ketchup and salad went down a treat while I was working around the quiet back streets of Brick Lane.

We went here for dinner before a Wolf Trap Concert Sunday. At first we thought Apple Maps had misdirected us as we drove down a back alley in an industrial area, but we kept going and found this gem. It was about half full, couples, families and bicycle riders from the bike trail next door. Typical craft brewery decor; nice, relaxed, clean and laid back. Seating was open so we selected a table with views of the bike path. Server was prompt, friendly and helpful as we worked through the menu. It’s not huge but selections are varied. Server helped us choose an entree to share, salad and the highlight of the meal the Mac and cheese. This was outstanding, best Mac and cheese we have had in NOVA. Portion size was such that share the entree, steak with garlic spinach, was the right amount for two. We don’t drink but the iced tea and fruit drinks were super. Iced tea was definitely not watered down, fruit drink was clearly home made and not sweet. We will be back.

Went for a quick spot of lunch on a summer's day. Pleasant area just off the beaten track and a solid burger. Went for the "Derailer" as it has both the pork & beef and was a solid effort. Lovely smokey taste throughout, soft bun didn't blow me away but a good showing, thank you.

Great burger, good curly fries (but very spicy). The only problem is finding a place to sit since there is always a lot of people over there. But the burger is worthy

Hired out the Caboose for a Christmas party of 10. Food was outstanding, place was very cool indeed, and we had lots of fun. It's nice and cosy inside and the seating arrangement means everybody gets to talk with everybody. Our host was incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Went here for my hen party meal and was absolutely thrilled to find such a cosy, unique, and special spot for dinner. The service was AMAZING, so friendly and attentive. The meat was cooked to perfection and portions HUGE (tip, go hungry). We rolled ourselves out after a three course meal and were all very happy. Would definitely recommend for something a bit different & intimate. Thank you Caboose!

We had a mini wedding celebration as a group of 11 in the private dining booth!
At first the venue seemed a tight squeeze but it was fine after a few drinks!
The extra touches to us were the most amazing as they decorated the booth with some balloons and even made a white wedding cake for the bride and groom to cut after dinner!
The team were great hosts and very welcoming, it’s BYOB for an extra £5 each and they provide a big cold ice bucket waiting to keep it all cold. Bring your own music too which was nice - you can connect to their speakers. We had the booth from 8 to 11pm which was perfect.
To start we were served a giant sharing platter of chicken wings, hummous, pitta and variety of dips. Main was a choice of 3 - pulled pork, brisket beef or a combination of both, all served as a burger in a brioche bun, with or without cheese. We were also served fries. Instead of plates you are given a tray covered with a sheet of greaseproof paper and wooden cutlery which was fine as it matched the theme of Caboose.
The food was tasty but I wouldn't say it was amazing or good value for £35 each.
What we loved was having a small cosy private booth that you could share with your close friends and reminded us of the private small private rooms in BYOB Japanese restaurants we use to frequent when we first met.
Things to note are:
- Toilets are in a bar opposite (3 minute walk away) which is a bit annoying but fine.
- It is a tight squeeze so there's not much space to put belongings and even on the table, so don't bring too much stuff! It is also best if you know each other well!
On the whole it was a good experience for a special celebration , however it was expensive (£35 food + £5 BYOB) for the food that you got, which was essentially a burger with fries and a chicken wing.

We had an amazing time at Caboose. Ten friends and I celebrated my birthday with great food and a fun atmosphere in our own private cabin. There's so much yummy food and it's a lovely intimate evening with your chef. Highly recommend for a special evening.
