This was my first visit to try Fireside with my husband. We were very excited to try it as we heard great things about it since it had been under new ownership. I will say the decor and interior was nicely remodeled and very up to date. I was pleased to see all the waiters and waitresses dressed in all black as it looked very professional. However, we were very disappointed with our experience. We arrived around 6:00 on Friday night and we’re seated around 6:15-6:20. After placing our order the waitress came back to inform us that my husband’s steak entree was sold out. He then reordered to an alternative steak entree. Then at 7:15 we were informed for a 2nd time that both our entrees were sold out and that we would have to reorder for a 3rd time. Needless to say, we got our check and will maybe retry in the next several months.

Newly remodeled, freshly staffed location with room for improvements. Excellent drink options, peaceful ambience, with a moderately priced menu. Staff did seem a bit flustered. We switched out servers 3 times. Chicken piccata was served on noodles, not risotto as described in the menu. This was extremely disappointing as the risotto was the primary reason for ordering the dish. Management is responsive to issues.

Loved that they had a messaging system that told you your wait time. Drinks were not replenished very timely. 20 minutes after ordering food they came out to tell us that they were out of what I ordered. I asked if I ordered something else if I would get a discount and they said yes so I got crab cakes which were not very good and barely any meat inside them. I believe it should have come with a side and I did not get a side either. The crab cakes were twice as much as what i originally ordered and when I got ticket they only gave me $2 off my meal. I liked the cheese cube that came on salad. My mates king cut beef was good. Au Jus sauce had no flavor. Caesar salad was not a Caesar salad. Our friends fish was over cooked and he did not even eat it. However they did comp that thankfully. When I spend $$ on a evening out I would like it to be tasty. We were not impressed.

We had a meeting last night here with a possible new customer! Great place for a business meeting. We had the back room which was fairly private. We ended up going after hours and as always the staff was very accommodating! Great place! Food and staff are great! Always great service and wonderful food. Again this is the best place in the area! I have traveled all over the country and have never had as good of an experience as I have here. Everyone is friendly and the food is excellent. I eat lunch there every day. It is my favorite place in the area . The lunch specials are great and it cost the same as a fast food place with high end food!

If you haven't been to this restaurant in awhile, you're in for a delightful surprise. Same name but now an Italian eatery. The interior and been completely remodeled. Gone are the musty, smoke smells replaced by aromas of pasta, breads, and sauces. The meatball and spaghetti boast 1 pound of meat, entirely true. It was well received by the men in my family. The lasagne is also well proportioned with a wonderful taste that is not over spicy or garlicky. Meals were accompanied by bread and salad. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer which is also served with a cinnamon apple butter along with the standard marinara sauce. DO NOT miss this. The apple butter is a wonderful addition. The mozzarella sticks have been made fresh as it appears everything else on their menu has too. It makes a difference! We visited on a Friday evening. Service was fast. Servers were considerate and ever present. They do take reservations and I would recommend. The menu carries a nice variety of Italian dishes that include veal, chicken, and weekend prime rib.

First of all I rarely comment on places that I visit. I really had high hopes and expectations for the fireside. It's Valentine's day and I wanted to have a great meal with my fiance. So we decided to go to the fireside. We were seated in the middle of the dining room. Other customers came in were waited on ate their meal and lefted before we were waited on. There were six waitstaff at the Wake station and still I got no service. Once we waited another 20 minutes to get waited on. And placed our order. It was still another 45 minutes before we got our meal. I ordered pork chops. what I got was an overcooked piece of leather that you could put on the bottom of your shoe.I am handicapped and presently walk with a walker and I cannot be missed so I really don't know why it took so long to be waited on. I really felt we were back in high school and two unpopular kids crash to party and if the wait staff would ignore us long enough we go away. I've never really felt so unwelcome in an eating establishment before. I was offered a $50 gift card. I respectfully decline the card. I will not spend my money on a place that acts like they do me a favor the minute I walk in the door. I wish no one no harm but I will personally not be back to your uninviting atmosphere

Nice place but food is terrible & over priced I had lasagna with no garlic bread. The lasagna tasted like candy to sweet. My daughter had fettuccine Alfredo it was dry hardy no sauce. My granddaughter had chick fingers but they were huge dry & no taste. My wife had chicken Marsalis she said it had no taste. All that for $50 Very disappointed

Have been waiting to try since open and left very disappointed. Very pricey for very small portions. I had the Veal and it was very tough and tried the meatballs for appetizer and you get 3 about the size of a quarter for about $8. The waitresses did great, I even overheard a table order a tea and the restaurant was out so she ran to the gas station next door to buy her a tea with her own money. I think I will just stick with Applebees’s!
