Giovanni's Pizza

Delicious food. My first visit here was a pleasant experience which is why I continue to eat here. My gf and I got home late and we both had a rough day and just wanted something to eat. We didn’t realize they were closing when we placed our order, but the owner was kind of enough to stay open late just for our order and made us a fresh pie. This was our second time ordering and went with a Pizza Bianca, and it was a wonderfully cooked pizza and satisfied our every bite. Genuine, hard working owners that make fantastic food and truly take pride in their product. The dining area and kitchen are always very clean and spotless and we can’t wait to come back again.

I really prefer not to leave bad reviews, but I must be honest. The pizza here isn't good at all, and I'm a big fan of pizza of all kinds- and the owner is a tad sketchy. Now, granted I only tried their plain slice, and nothing else but that's all I need to try to decide on if I like a pizzeria. The slice was very small and I got a can of iced tea, for about $5. I decided to dine in and the owner stood right in front of me the entire time , he was behind the counter of course but it's as if he watched me eat the entire pizza. I was quite uncomfortable but I had no where else to eat, as I was rushing and on the go. He appeared nice, but in a sketchy, weird way. My first experience made me super uncomfortable there, so I don't plan on returning nor ordering from there. Also, there was no traffic in that pizzeria besides one other person that was trying it for the first time. Hopefully it was just an off day.

So, ordered from this place a few times. Had two issues between several orders but the rudeness from the owner with those two issues was enough to make me no longer want to order from this so called pizzeria. The first was when we placed an order of over 30 dollars, hung up and realized there was a coupon for such. Called back within 1 min and was told we should have said something the first time we called and to take the difference out of the delivery guys tip. Absolutely not will I do that but that’s how much they care about their reputation among locals and their employees. I digress... I ordered from them tonight and received a pizza that was clearly at some point turned sideways as all the cheese and toppings were to one side of the pizza and even some off into the box itself. Leaving half the pizza basically bare of cheese. I call to let the owner know and he tells me he made a perfect pizza for me and he did his part even though he was about to close (I called at 8:30 pm to place the order and they close at 9:30pm so save the guilt trip for real). He did his part?! He’s the owner. His part was till it got to the door. Offered me a free topping ($2.00 vs the $16.00 pizza that arrived looking like a piece of bread.... get out of here with that offer) then he hung up on me while I was mid sentence. The guy is rude and I’m done with this place. The pizza isn’t that good to begin with. If your thinking of ordering from here think twice. The owner is rude and apparently “did his part” by doing the most basics of his job title... cooking pizza. Which was poorly done. If your looking for decent pizza order from one of their competitors like singas pizza or Duneoodie pizza. Way better and the staff is actually pleasant.

Delicious Authentic Italian Spot! I tried this spot because it was part of the Yonkers' Restaurant Week and I am so glad I did! I ordered the Chicken Scarpariello Pasta for lunch and it very flavorful. The chicken was tender and juicy and the pasta was al dente. I went back to this spot for dinner the same day because the owner suggested that I try the Penne Alla Vodka with Shrimp. The sauce was creamy, smooth and mouthwatering. The shrimp was tender and fresh and of course the Penne was al dente as well. Pros: Authentic Italian Spot Friendly family owned business Amazing food Cons: It is only a pizza spot with a few seats. Would be great if it's an upscale sit down restaurant!

I just wanted to say my husband and I have been coming and ordering from here for years i love there pizza . I can only eat white pizza now. Let me tell you this is the only place I get the pizza if i am in the mood for it. They make it the way i like it and even if I haven't been by in a while they never forget me. My husband and I spent our Valentine's Day here ordered the white pizza half plain half broccoli the best. Atmosphere is always great they are always pleasant never disappointed with the food.
