This place is NOT Fancy, nor does it try to be… but they have some of the best, freshest food and Draft Beer, at the BEST Prices between the Scioto River and the Railroad Tracks… Great classic biker bar. Original genuine decor. Clean. I had the Italian Submarine, my wife had the chicken sandwich. Our friends had the fish sandwich, and more. Nothing but satisfaction all around. No disappointment here !!!

Everytime we come to town we eat here for dinner at least one night! Excellent food, atmosphere and staff. This morning looking for breakfast, we realized they also serve breakfast till 11am. The menu looked good and the prices were amazing. Husband got the Tavern Bowl and I got the Burrito. We were not disappointed! Serving was perfect, flavor was unbeatable and we ate for $13.41. Skip fast food or any other breakfast in town, you won't be disappointed!!

My son and I stopped by for dinner while vacationing for the weekend. Atmosphere is a local bar with tvs and pool tables. No music (odd for a Fri night) and folks talking. Not really meant for small kids. We walked in and sat down with no wait, although it was kind of busy. Beers and food priced very well. Try the sloppy Joe nachos and the country fried steak sandwich or the club and fries. Pretzel bites were forgetful. But the rest was really good. We enjoyed the place and felt comfortable. Service wasn’t bad but our server would rather not have spoken with us at all based on her attitude. Still, I would visit here again.

Great stop after hiking Hocking Hills... nothing like a friendly bar, solid strong drinks, pub food and great prices. The staff were great and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Tucked away and recommended for anyone that loves supporting local places that give you the local experience to all... perfect name for the Home Tavern
