Growing up in Jersey, we knew it would be tough to find good pizza down here. We've tried a bunch of spots and most are no where close.
While it's not a direct replacement for pizza up home, Pizza and Beyond is the best spot I've found so far for new York style pizza on the charlotte area.

Well, I've searched up and down for good pizza in NC and I've found some good places in Winston, but none in this area. I'm originally from NY and this is it, this is my favorite pizza I've had in NC. I wish this restaurant was near my how in Winston because it would be my go to spot for pizza. App
I was passing through Locust and thought, "What could possibly be beyond pizza?". It turns out, really amazing stromboli and craft beer! The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. I'll stop again the next time I'm passing through!
