Dale Yee Chow Mein

If I could give a lower rating, I would. First visit, last visit. They're doing carry out only, which is fine. But nobody was out front for 10 minutes nor would even come out to see if customers were waiting despite my calling out several times. And that's not even the worst part. I ordered almond chicken, my wife and son had chicken fried rice and my daughter beef and broccoli. I tasted the beef ... it was horrible. The almond chicken was flavorless and my son reports the fried rice was as dry as a bone. I really don't like to speak this poorly of a business and I realize taste is subjective. But this was just bad, folks, really bad.

The online order was easy and fast. Ordered almond bonless chicken. Lunch combo with egg roll and fried rice. But the food was disappointing. The chicken was rubbery. Price and value were good so i will give them another try on a diffderent item. I hope it is better. However my dog seemed to enjoy the rubbery chicken just fine.

I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and I asked the girl if it was Dowey I like mine crispy and not doing chewy she said I could order it crispy . I also ordered the vegetable fried rice big chunks of vegetables in there mushroom onion Peapod delicious. I have to admit I am very pleased with this meal

BEWARE: UNSAFE FOOD PRACTICES/SPOILED CHICKEN! This place has gone down tremendously. I’m going to assume it was a change in ownership. Yesterday, I had ordered my kids and I some sweet and sour chicken. I ate less than half my order, my 18 month old ate 3-4 pieces of chicken and my 9 year old only ate his rice (thank goodness). Less than 3 hours later, I started to vomit. Now, it’s 3:30am; I’ve been running back and forth to the bathroom, vomiting nonstop/diarrhea. My 18 month old woke up and started to vomit. The only non-sick person is my 9 year old who didn’t eat any of his chicken. I’m in so much pain. I can never go back here again. Please stay clear, you have been warned! UPDATE: it’s the next morning and my 9 year old started throwing up and having diarrhea. My grandmother who had just a little of the chicken friend rice and sweet and sour sauce is now in the hospital with the exact same symptoms. Please, be very cautious!!!!

My favorite Chinese in the livonia / redford area. One of the very few that make orange chicken. During the pandemic this place is take out only but when they are open I love the dine in experience. Always a nice calming atmosphere with hot tea. The service is always great, smiles on everyone. And the front dining is always clean and if they are as attentive in the dining and services I would expect the kitchen to be the same. The other thing I love about the food .... ITS ACTUALLY MADE IN HOUSE. How many Chinese places get the bite sized chicken frozen just deep fry and add a sauce .... almost all of them, at least the cheap ones. When you order here you can tell the food is actually prepared and not bulk ordered out. Always a hit with our family and any guests we have. Love this place!
