Review 88 Cafe - Livingston

Always delicious and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, besides their amazing sushi and other traditional dishes! Consistent food, and good service!

Really depends on your palate. This is not an authentic Chinese restaurant. It is more like a typical takeout Chinese restaurant. However, they do have soup dumplings which are not bad. Their lunch special is a good value and service is friendly. I had their spicy tofu plate and beef with scallion and onion. Each dish came with a choice of an additional small appetizer which is nice. The flavor profile is a bit bland but better than the takeout Chinese equivalent. The soup dumplings had a pleasant broth and were served piping hot. The meat inside felt like it came from a multipurpose cache of ground meat rather than specially made for the dumplings. Not the worst, but there is much tastier and more authentic food nearby.

Great juicy pork buns, dry sauteed string beans, and scallion pancakes. All the food here is really good and very fresh. One of my favorite places to get Chinese food. I would highly recommend this place. They do deliver locally, but I suggest eating there for best quality.

We had a private event for a dear friend. The food was delicious....vegetables and meat and tofu were perfectly cooked. I could have kept eating. Always love this place for takeout or delivery. Extremely friendly staff!!

I do not prefer Chinese food, & am a "picky" eater; however, our experience has been thumbs up every time. The food is fabulous, as is the service. The cost is reasonable. I've tried various dIshes & have alwa6s been pleased. Nice eat in environment. Pick up available & delivery to specified locations. We have been regular customers for 10+ years.

Great Asian cuisine of high quality that you can't believe is that cheap. The sushi is also quite good. Their service is top notch and getting in and out during 1 hour lunch is totally viable.

Cheap & rude. Ordered 3 rolls with a soup on the lunch special. She ran my credit card and after I realized I forgot to ask her if I could get a tiny bit spicy mayo on the side she screamed at me saying that there’s a charge for that. Are you kidding me? First, is that how you talk to a customer? Second, how cheap can you be..... take your money and go to Kim’s sushi in West Orange— all that stuff is on the house there.

I meet with friends this great restaurant a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this place at least once a month. The cooking is excellent, the team is welcoming and the rates are decent. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a tasty meal.
