Love this place. Started our evening there in the magical outdoor seating - the atmosphere was perfect and the smell from the pizza oven got our appetites going. The food delivers - nothing too fancy - but just packed with great flavors at good prices. The ramp pizza was incredible. After dinner went up to the bar - a hidden gem with great drinks and a really authentic old-school Catskills resort vibe. Finished the evening bundled up by the fire-pit. Perfect!

Great outdoor space; the picnic tables for al fresco dining are fun, and perfect for people watching along Main Street. Excellent offerings of locally-sourced veggies. The thin-crust brick oven pizza is superb. Gracious and caring wait staff with an on-site owner who oversees the operation. Makes you feel at home, even if it's your first time.

The first time I went there on November 19th the pizzas were really over cooked. I talked with the owner John and he made it right tonight. Very very good pizza. We had a margarita, plain, and pepperoni, all very very good. Definitely we will go back!

Wonderful place. The pizzas are excellent. Great flavors, fresh ingredients. One of the best meatballs I've ever had. Will definitely be back again. Love the fire pit in the open yard as you walk in.

As seasoned reviewers, my boyfriend and I recommend this Catskills pizza spot, giving it a commendable 8.2. The atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, was superb. The staff was friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Our culinary journey included a wood-fired roasted trout appetizer, which, unfortunately, scored a 5 due to its mushiness and an incompatible onion-rice mix. As a non-garlic eater, the pesto was overwhelmingly garlicky. The Waterfowl folly Rueben sauerkraut pizza earned an 8 for its well-structured dough, while the Hawaii Five-Oh disappointed with an excessive amount of cheese and pineapple, resulting in a rating of 3. The drinks, particularly the "Lost in the Woods" cocktail and the draft beer, received an 8 and were truly delightful. The arugula salad stood out with a stellar rating of 9.

Our first visit to the town coming from New Haven, CT and NYC. We chose this excellent restaurant to fill our bellies en route to Ithaca. The lines of people waiting to get in was the first indication this was worthy of the experience. Scott, the manager, greeted us. We were offered indoor or outdoor. Scott brought us to this wonderful upstairs space which delighted us with the music and the staff. Top notch service. Ambience is hip and the music delightful. The beer was on tap and definitely tasty. The pizza brought the house down!!! Yum yum yum!! You need to make this your favorite spot when heading north. Easy drive into town with plenty of street parking. Easy access back onto old route 17. We are all smiles still bragging about the amazing experience! The staff is perfect by the way!!!

This place is a great find. The pizza is excellent, and they have a gluten-free crust you can substitute with any pizza. Best GF crust i've had! Not only is the pizza something all on its own, but their speciality and infused drinks/cocktails are just as great. Definitely worth the trip even if you have to travel a little. Highly recommend.

We stopped by on our way to Ithaca - and definitely plan to return when we go back to the city! The wood fired dishes are excellent! Kids loved the pizza and adults loved the salad and cocktails. Thanks to Scott for such a great dining experience! There is limited seating indoors, but there is a warm fire pit outdoors (if it’s not too cold out). Call ahead to reserve a table indoors on cold days.

Just finished up a great lunch at Kaatskeller! The arugula salad was one of the best I’ve had. My husband got the chicken and vegetable soup and found it perfect for a cold day…hearty and delicious. The pizzas here are amazing! I love the margarita pizza with its coal fired crust. Wine list is pictured here and I had the rose and sauvignon blanc, both were great! Definitely recommend stopping by if you are visiting the Catskills. Enjoy!

Delicious. Absolutely amazing pizza. The smell walking in was delightful, and the atmosphere was very chill. We grabbed a table for 2 upstairs, and ordered a couple of mocktails which were very good. Especially the green one (Paid Vacation). We got one pizza each, and we’re glad that we got more than one because we were super hungry and one pizza would have not quite been enough for both of us. Both pizzas were delicious, thin crusted, with so much flavor in each bite. We will definitely be back every time we are in the area.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday. Ill start out by saying the food and atmosphere was really good. However the service was pretty bad. The workers or "runners" themselves were a delight, super nice kids. But the way this place is run, is really inefficient. You have to go inside to order, which is fine, but the line was so long because it was also the line to pay. Meanwhile the one person they had in the front taking orders and handling bills was also being pulled in ten other directions. It took incredibly long just to put an order in. You get an order number to put on your table, which then the runners have to walk around the entire outdoor area looking for you. All fixable issues that I hope they address as the season goes on!

Always stop here when in Livingston Manor - even with takeout. Great food, service and relaxed atmosphere. The buffalo pizza and skillet meatballs are my favorite- definitely recommended.

Wow did I enjoy this pizza. We had the pineapple one and then a pepperoni pie and the flavors were so delicious. I’m not sure what flour they use, normally I react badly to pizza dough, but I did not have any negative reaction here. In fact I felt really good afterwards which is some kind of miracle. We had the house IPA and it was cold and super yummy. Service was lovely and we lucked out with perfect weather.

Kastskeller had the best pizza we’ve had in the long time. It was cooked to perfection in their brick oven. The staff was friendly and their outdoor setting had such a cool vibe. The open fire makes you want to stay and relax with a nice cocktail. I would say the on downfall is the cost of the cocktails, but they do carry local beers witch it a plus.

We were visiting from out of town, had some lunch on a Sunday. I appreciated the outdoor seating, we were able to bring our dog and stroller for our baby which is very helpful. The food was great, we had the manor pizza with arugula and prosciutto - delicious. We also had the fish which was very good as well. Oatmilk ice cream to go was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and place was clean with prompt service. Would definitely recommend.

I got a pizza to go from here for the first time tonight, and now will be going back as often as I can! The pizza was amazingly delicious, and the service was great. They lost my pizza initially, and the manager was on it immediately, the waitstaff also, and immediately put in a new order for a new pizza. I only had to wait 5-10 minutes before they found it, and they still refunded me for it. I was blown away by the attentiveness of the manager and the kindness of the waitstaff. They were all really on it and organized. It was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had a restaurant in this area of the Catskills. Thank you!
