Sorry i cant partake of the sugary treats, im a very satisfied customer of their soups, granola and yogurt soup and their VERY fresh varieties of bread. Only wish they made real pumpernickel bread; i better not ask again. Very comfortable place.

Their Cinnamon Raisin Bagels are fantastic! Great breads....yummy baguettes. And they sell Mexican Coca Cola (made with sugar not HFCS)...which is realllly hard to find around here. We have food allergies and the staff are great about double checking ingredients. : )

Wonderful little bakery. Friendly staff and nice selection of items. I love small local businesses. Coffee was good as well.as pastries. They also have a selection of baked goods to take and a fridge selection as well. We tried the German butter cake which was good, but if you've never had it before be prepared for lots of sugar. Their everything bagel has oats and sunflower seeds on it which was different. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely go again.

It's worth the drive. I live about 20 minutes away and I try to make it to the bakery at least twice a month. The spinach and feta turnovers are my favorite. The breads are amazing. You can't go wrong with one of their scones and a coffee on a weekend morning.

I've been visiting since the days of their original location in Jeffersonville. Current location is easier to drive at the expense of being bit further. Owner family has been wonderful folks and their baked goods are excellent in quality with no compromise. It's sad to see ownership changing hands after this weekend. I will visit once it reopens to see if their name lives on or will it be swallowed up by yet another mediocre bakery filled with cheap cupcakes.

Drove 3 hours and it was well worth it. Best rye bread ever - and we've tried hundreds. Excellent pastries - croissant, turnovers, butter cake, pies...an incredible variety and every one delicious. Just wish you were closer!

I can't say enough good things about this bakery. Everything we've tried from coffee, tea, chocolate croissants, sticky buns, scones, etc. have all been so good! We always, always make a stop (or two) when we are in town. I was sad to see the place is for sale, I really hope a new owner can keep up the amazing quality!

This tiny bakery stands out as a unique jewel in the village of Livingston Manor. They serve a number of different baked items, including pastries and fresh breads. The staff are helpful and kind. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and the coffee drinks that they serve. It stands out in the community. I go there every time I find myself in the area.

I stopped here because the smell of whatever they were baking reached out to me as I rode by. The canoli-like item I got was really unique and not overly sweet. The interior is pleasant and old-timey and the employees are friendly. I'm glad I found this place, and recommend it without reservation.

Amazing bakery! Perfectly local, and refined. Truly amazing baked goods, not just mindless carbs. It tastes as if they have perfected every item for years. Everything there is their specialty. They only have one table inside, but it is cute right by the window.

Continuing to have good experiences here. Bagels, which I've only bought intermittently (and mutteringly) since leaving Brooklyn 40 years ago, have rapidly become a daily habit again. They are consistently superb. Strawberry-rhubarb torte is just as good as the cherry version. Even scones, which have never personally enamored me, taste excellent whenever i have a bite, Happy customers and staff make waiting to be served a friendly few minutes.

I found this little bakery one through a friend that send me one of their wedding cake pictures on Facebook. It was just a week before our wedding and we haven't ordered a cake yet. We gave them a call and the cake baker was very nice and helpful. She made a small wedding cake for us with just a week notice. It was vanilla buttercream with mixed berry filling. Everyone loved it And it looked gorgeous:)

Fairly limited selection of breads, often only a couple available, and the pastries are very sweet, almost all with sugar frosting, nevertheless quite a resource in a small town. Limited opening days/hours, so check ahead.

The absolute best bakery in Sullivan county. Forget about Monticello, make the drive up to Livingston Manor and get some turnovers, sheetcakes, croissants, bear claws, donuts on Fridays and prezels on Sundays. Nothing says German bakery like butter, so don't forget to try the butter bread! And fresh baguettes.

The best bread and bagels. Sprouted and sourdoughs are out of this world. Sometimes you have to cut it yourself because bread is so fresh out of the oven. Not a problem for me, since I just rip big peaces.

This deminuative bakery is simply terrific in every sense of the word. Except one: why can't a great bakery, with German roots, prepeare some sugar free treats and real pumpernickel loafs? Must try their homemade granola and soups.
