Baja Fresh

Update: 8/4/23 Bathrooms have a sewer smell, which might be the toilet seal gone bad or some problem with the connection to the pipes below, we're not plumbers, so not sure. Building owner needs to take care of this, as it's been going on for a very long time. Bathrooms themselves have soap, toilet paper, & paper towels, so that's a good thing. Counter staff is always polite & friendly. It's not the employees' fault that the owner of the restaurant or building owner isn't taking care of this problem with the sewer smell. Food was good, freshly prepared, good portions, which along with soap, TP, & paper towels is why we're giving 4 stars now. 9/2022: Associate at counter was polite & friendly. Women's bathroom had no toilet paper, paper towels on a prior visit, & needed cleaning. This is the same bathroom that employees that prepare food are using, so our family never feels comfortable when a bathroom in a restaurant isn't clean. Without paper towels, freshly washed hands that touch doorknob negate having washed your hands. We really want to see staff that prep & cook food wearing masks & gloves that are change out whenever they leave their workstation even if they're not currently required. Gloves go a long way in preventing spread of disease, food poisoning, etc.. We threw away our meal (take out) after seeing a cook wiping their face without gloves on & then adding produce to our food.

Baja Fresh is pretty consistent for not-fsst food but close restaurants chain. Actually, that's understating the food which is very good. The rest of it is typical chain atmosphere and service. My go to is the Burrito Ultimo with chicken. Mostly die to the savoety veggies inside. Bit I Aldo really enjoy the Baja tacos with chicken which are close to street tacos.

Always a great experience going into this Baja Fresh. And, as expected the service, food & atmosphere did not disappoint. Upon my entrance I was immediately greeted by the manager & a worker that was sweeping the floors. The mgr. offered to take my order immediately & even proceeded to ask if I had any questions regarding the menu. After ordering my food...she offered me everything that should've been offered when ordering a meal from there, i.e., If I wanted a drink? The type of salsa I wanted w my meal, etc. I was very pleased w the thorough process/customer service I received from the manager...she was extremely professional from beginning to end of my visit there at Baja Fresh. Also, I will add as a side note that while I was there I did not once see one of those workers standing around once during my visit. It was obvious that these workers worked hard & took their jobs serious. I appreciate that as a patron. So thank you to the employee's there!!👍💯🌟. Your hard certainly shows in your store location! And, finally the last thing I will add is that I had to use the restroom prior to my departure and even the bthrm was exceptionally clean..to the point of it even smelling as if it was just recently scrubbed down. Bonus!! So, in my overall experience of my visit to Baja Fresh in Livermore...I would give it a solid 10+!! And, that includes my meal/the food as well ;). I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose to dine here. I hope you all have just as good of an experience as I did! Cheers~

Food is always really good! Especially the shrimp! I look forward to eating there every time. The people working there are very friendly. Good salsa selection too. The only downside is if you are dining in, no matter where you sit, be prepared to either be harassed by a fly or be sitting next to a dead one haha
