Had a amazing experience. It was on first time having Burmese food. The waiter helped us select our food. Everything we had was so flavorful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something unique and delicious. We will be back.

We loved Shwe Myanmar Burmese. It was excellent. In my opinion, the Best Burmese food in the Bay Area. I have eaten at 5-6 places including Ruby Rangoon, Minglaba, Burma Burma, Burma Experience and couple of others. Firstly, we are vegetarians and like spicy food. Luckily for us they, have an extensive Vegan Menu! We ordered several dishes to get a feel for the place. They were able to customize the spicy level to our liking. We ordered the Tea Leaf Salad which was excellent, the best we have had. Also ordered the Sampler with Samosas, Veg fritters. We also ordered the Roti Paratha appetizer. Loved the Curry that came along with it and good portion size. We also ordered Pad Thai, Fried Rice Noodle dish with vegetables and Okra-Potato in tomato curry w/ Rice. All the dishes were excellent, nice portions and we had a decent amount of leftovers for another meal at home. Service was very nice and will definitely visit them again with more friends and family!

Interior and seating is nice and comfy. Looks like a hole in the wall outside, but is nicer on the inside. This is somewhere casual you go with friends or family. Menu is extensive, and some pictures could be better, but the same theme applies in that the food itself also is nicer. Portions are generous. We ordered four dishes, and each one is worthy of repeat. Definitely try the tea salad or the fried oysters as appetizer. The eggplant curry 103 was very good, as was the beef biryani w/ fried rice. Nothing was too salty or greasy.

first time here for lunch with my daughter, wasn’t sure what to order so we chanced it with Tea Leaf Salad - freshly assembled, very good flavor. chicken lettuce wraps - wonderfully flavorful dish. and a small chicken curry appetizer that was very tasty but not too curry strong. Will be going back here soon! Unfortunately, I was too busy enjoying the good food to take a photo! Nice presentation though.

Imperial Sesame chicken, Coconut Chicken with Potatoes and the Coconut Rice were delicious. Samosas were good but the some of the Samosas were cold on the inside like they weren't completely cooked all the way through.

Great restaurant, food and service. We went there as a huge family group of about 15, and they accommodated us on one side of the restaurant, took our orders and served the food promptly. The food was delicious, with a fantastically long Vegan menu (there's a full separate appetizer page, and two more pages of entrees). This was our first time eating Burmese: the food seems to resemble Indian food on the one hand, Thai food on the other, with some unique blend of its own added in. It's not a big restaurant: it's basically a single medium sized hall with tables for four fairly closely packed (and a single bathroom). The decor was clean but like the standard issue Chinese restaurant in the US.

Service was friendly. Prices and portions were decent. The menu is the same for lunch or dinner. It's a fantastic option for vegans (and therefore vegetarians or plant based folks as well). The Rainbow Salad and the Garlic Noodles were delicious (well at least my omnivore partner enjoyed the pork garlic noodles enough to make joyful food noises). The parata with the split peas dish and the kidney bean fritters dish weren't the most flavorful options. They both tasted freshly made. There was a crisp on the outside of the fritters that was nice, but even with the dipping sauce they were a bit on the bland and dry side. Very healthy tasting. The parata was slightly burned, but the split pea curry was flavorful. Overall we wouldn't get these two dishes again. But we would go back and try other dishes and we would get their garlic noodles and Rainbow Salad dishes again.

A most wonderful surprise. Tea leaf salad was a delight, with many seeds and nuts all spiced to perfection The Garlic noodle with chicken was excellent. The Okra -potato Egg curry was a true experience, well seasoned and texture was fantastic. Iced milk tea was flavorful. I would highly recommend this establishment

We got a Cream cheese wonton puff - they are little droplets of heaven, I could eat them daily, and Parata with Shaw Myanmar coconut chicken curry W/ potatoes for appetizers, OMG the taste would just stay in your memory and makes your glands watery imagining it, I didn't expect that to be that delicious. For main course we had House curry noodles which is amazing, it has a mix of masalas and spices aptly savoring the tastebuds and melting in mouths, I'm from India and any dishes with little resemblance easily gets my heart. We asked the owner to pick a dish for us, authentic Myanmar Chicken Noodles Salad (Nan Pyar Thoke or Nan Gyi Thoke) he also mixed the salad for me, so sweet of him. With such delicious food and amicable nature, this place only wants me to go back and try the many other varieties of food. I got to try Iced milk tea sometime and also the other salads. This place also has cool pictures hung, the ambiance was great.
