Greco's Italian Ices And Homemade Ice Cream

The ice cream is phenomenal!!! I'm new to the Lititz area and the kiddos and I love grabbing ice cream whenever we go out. We've been to Greco's a few times now and it's been great every time! Staff is very nice and engaging. Haven't gotten to meet the owner yet but I've heard great things. My kid's favorite ice cream shop now, hands down! They literally ask to go everyday 😅. Keep up the great work y'all!

Holy goodness it would be a sin to miss Greco’s ice cream when you’re in Lititz! Husband had peanut butter ice cream that was the creamiest I ever experience😋 A Taste of Lititz was equally rich, vanilla with Wilbur’s dark chocolate bits, Sturgis pretzel bits and peanut butter and fudge swirls😛 Located next to Wilbur’s chocolate- a double header! (No photos I ate it too fast!)

Thank you for the quick response, much appreciated and I will stop in this week. I was just ripped off, and will not go back. The owner is totally at fault for not providing adequate training to the employees. They were working very hard but didn't know what they were doing. I spent $24 for 2 quarts of ice cream that were 1/3 to 1/2 AIR, see attached pictures. When I commented to the employee about all the air all I got was shrugged shoulders. Since you pay before being served I was stuck with the air filled quarts. The line was long and I didn't' want to delay others by asking for a refund. Too bad cause the ice cream is very good.

The employees at Grecco's are welcoming and friendly. They serve Italian ice and homemade ice cream. You can get your ice cream in a dish, a cone, a pretzel cone, a waffle cone, or a chocolate chip cone. They also serve milkshakes and flurries, and have a wide variety of ice cream flavors, including a few that include Wilbur chocolate. They have tables for customers inside as well as picnic tables outside. It's definitely a popular place. Every time I've been there, they've been busy and we've had to wait in line. But they do a good job keeping the line moving. Yes, there are some changes since it is under new ownership, and it's always sad, when you live in an area and support a local business for years, to see it change hands and then have the new owners change some of your favorite things. However, that should be expected as a new owner understandably wants to make the business their own. It's important to give the new owners a chance, and to expect them to keep everything as the original owners had it and do everything the same way the original owners did is unfair. So, instead of comparing the new owners to the old, I would like to encourage you to give them a chance and not base your decision on whether or not to continue to support the business on one or two visits in the first year of their ownership.
