UPDATE: I USED to like this place. The woman at the counter was always friendly when I used to come in person. I tried to stay a customer, I really did. But after the 4th bland meal that set my stomach off in a row, I can't order from here ever again anymore. I don't know what it is but their food sets my stomach off. Last time I ordered delivery, and the delivery driver REFUSED TO GET OUT OF THE CAR because I was with my dog who was on a leash. We were returning to the house from a walk but we didn't need to be there when he arrived as he was instructed to place it on the front doorstep for "contactless delivery". He instead called my phone multiple times and chose to wait in his car for 5 minutes. He refused to look for the house number which was clearly labeled outside the house. After spending around 50+ dollars, I practically had to beg him to release the food! I ended up just having him place it on the ground outside his door as he was just sitting there and I was getting annoyed. NEVER AGAIN! Whether it's the oil or spoiled food or something, the food just does NOT sit well with my partner and I. I really wanted to support an African/Black Owned small business but this place needs WAY better customer service and food quality. Sucks they're the only ones in the area. Guess I'll get takeout from Philly or NYC instead. I would not recommend this place anymore. ORIGINAL: I come here and absolutely LOVE the food! It tastes authentic and the spices are on point! I don’t need to add salt or anything unlike most places I have tried. I came about 4 times in 3 weeks once I found this place. I love that they have vegetarian options as I am VEGAN! Most West African places do not cater to us. The Jollof Rice is on point as well. I usually get the fufu with egusi, Jollof Rice with spinach, and some plantains. They have meat pies/patties as well that they give you with your meal but I have not tried any as they are not vegan. The portions are more than reasonable. I plan to bring others here as well. I would however recommend that you CALL instead of use the Seamless app if you are making many specifications like I do. The people are friendly as well. I also wish they would use plastic containers as much as I don’t like plastic instead of styrofoam to package stews as the oils and soups constantly spill and make a mess on the way home. Definitely recommend for some authentic west African food and plan to return again soon! :)

The food was amazing I drove 40 minutes just to get a platter it some time for them to prepare it but it is worth the wait I had the cassava leaf with chicken white rice my boyfriend had Wakye everything taste nice portions big whoever prepared meals I ordered put there heart in it I will be back 💕💕🙌🏽

I ordered the sampler, meat pie and a side of plantain. The goat meat was mostly gristle, fat and bone. The jollof was just okay but was mixed in with rice and peas which isn't what i ordered and the sampler description didn't list it as having rice and peas. The plantain was good and the cabbage not bad. The poor quality of the giat meat ruined it for me. I won't be ordering from here again.
