Review The Forester - Lincoln

The lady that was working the bar had her bare hands all over her face and in her hair and then on our rims without washing her hands and grabbed our straws which for unwrapped with her bare fingers touching the top of the straw my food may have been good if I could eat it, but the plate it was on was too small so my food kept falling off onto the table and by the time the waitress came back so that we could ask her for another plate my food (nachos)was completely cold as it had been almost 20 minutes the drinks( after asking for a clean straw which our waitress quickly and politely got)where ok but not great. Our waitress was polite throughout the entire meal though and we can't be too upset about the wait when she was, as far as I could see, the only one out other than the bar back. All and all, I have had better here and know that they can do better here but today was not it. The food is in a takeout box because I asked for a takeout box instead of a small plate by the time she got back because I didn't want to send my food back to the kitchen I just wanted to leave so this is what it looks like when I got home.

Please read review to see why i gave you guys a great review: Ordered tonight and there were some issues with our order that we placed online, fiance had to wait but he wasn't worried about it since he was able to talk to a friend. He said there was a mess up getting the ticket in which is completely fine. We both have worked in food service and things happen. I'm not much of a meat for a lot of different reasons based on health necessities besides it being ethical or not. The veggie wrap was messed up leading me to believe there was hamburger in it which is one of the hardest Meats I have to eat. We were also missing a side salad and other things. However after calling they completely responded like how a professional business does. They apologized and refunded our WHOLE order despite the rest of the food my fiance had eaten was delicious and their mashed were perfect. They also re made my wrap and got the rest of the items from the order and they're DELICIOUS. To the new girl trying to get used to things: you got this and after some times will get easier To the manager that gave us the refund: you're awesome even though we would have been willing to pay for the stuff we did get And to the cooks that prepared our food, it's DELICIOUS Thank you for doing what you did. You're a great business that obviously cares about your customers. Keep up the wonderful work! Edit: they put a veggie burger in not a hamburger pattie but I have a hard time with the taste matching up to real meat

Foods is good, price is fair, drinks are good. Getting what we order, probably 2 out of 10 times.( Takeout) Almost never get what we order, or how we order it more so. Could definetly work on communication from the phone to the kitchen. For instance... Ordered a chicken ceaser salad. Customer doesnt eat bacon, salad isn't supposed to come with bacon on it according to the menu. Shouldn't be an issue. Nope... Def issue. Nearly every time. 8 out of 10 times something is messed up, forgotten or wrong all together. But, it's usually good 👍🏻

Let me just start off by saying the service tonight was absolutely AMAZING!!! Our waitress definitely deserves a 5 star review. As far as the kitchen staff, not so much. We were sitting within ear shot of the kitchen. Hearing everything. The way the kitchen staff was treating others was heartbreaking. Our waitress brought our entrees out to us with scorching hot plates. Not okay! If you have a plate that’s too hot for your bare hands to carry, you stack the plates. Period! Props to all the servers. You guys deserve better!

Outstanding service for a party of 9. On a very busy night. Make sure you ask for Molly to be your server. She has this job down! Excellent food. Family atmosphere for a pub. Plenty of televisions to catch your favorite sporting event. The pulled pork flatbread was extremely flavorful. The fish tacos were very good. I recommend this place.

Absolutely AMAZING! The food is incredible! Pricing is totally reasonable. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the staff was incredibly helpful and sweet. Everything was simply wonderful!! My husband and I were impressed with how delicious everything was!!

My gf and I go here every chance we get when traveling back and forth from coast. This is a superb restaurant and if you dont like the noise ask to sit in the back room. Some of the best food. Every salad I've eaten here has been most excellent. Appetizers are unique and always changing on special menus. The owners know how to run a business. 5 stars all the way.
