Highly recommend taking a small detour off I-55 to Imo's Family Cafe in Lincoln Illinois. Stopped for supper while on a road trip to find great comfort food/ home cooking. Simple fare with top quality ingredients and attention to detail made for a delicious meal. Service was prompt and friendly by staff that know most of their customers by name. At 5:30 pm on a Tuesday night, the place was busy with locals for both dine and take out.

Everytime I come here without fail the food is so delicious and the attitudes of the waitresses are just wonderful and the place is always clean and it's so comfortable to be there and you feel welcome and I love how this is the first place to make my very shy 8 yr old son comfortable enough where he will order his own food and speak to people.....absolutely love this place💖💖
