Food delicious love their carne asada fries but be careful when you order takeout the girls at the front will ignore you at the counter and talk like you’re not there, bark at you for you name when you’ve already told them and mean mug you when you ask for some hot sauce and don’t bother saying than
We were pleasantly surprised by this small low keyed restaurant. We're always looking for "good" Mexican. We both really liked our meals and have already recommended El Portal to our family in Wheatland.
I loved the burrito. We like to support local small buisnesses and they did not disappoint. We where told ot would take about 15-20 minutes to her our food, they brought it out in less than 10.
Nothing too fancy but quick service, enough space,for a few eat in guests and food was delicious. Solid choice. Will be back.
Lovely staff., very accommodating. Wish I lived in Lincoln, this would be my regular fix for Mexican.
Got the super burrito with red sauce, the burrito was nice and piping hot all over. Hate when my burrito isn’t hot enough to burn my mouth.
Will come back when in Lincoln again.
