This place is a Lincoln gem. We always enjoy the food. Peter was our waiter, and he worked with us to provide an overall outstanding culinary experience. We had sashimi, oysters, a custom roll (shown here), and more oysters. I highly recommend you stop in for the BEST sushi in Lincoln.

There was only one server at dinner time and I'm sure she was trying her best, but we were only a party of two and ordered long before other bigger parties and received our food much later than them. We waited about almost an hour for our food and even a miso soup, that was forgotten about. We received all our food at once when we ordered an appetizer first since we were really hungry. There were only about 6 tables sat at this time. The food was delicious, but the service was definitely lacking. Everything was also served in styrofoam containers, paper plates, with plastic utensils and cups, which I didn't see any other dine-in restaurants do, even during COVID. Hopefully they hire more servers and make other improvements.

If you're like my family, we base the quality of a Japanese restaurant on two very basic things, stramed rice and miso soup. And they both get 👍👍. Add that to a very good selection of foods including bento boxes, donburi, ramen, udon, and sushi and you're sure to find something you like.
If I have to be critical of anything, I prefer a little less rice in a spicy tuna role, but otherwise it's a great restaurant.
Service was excellent and staff are very friendly. Definitely going back.
