Review Awful Annie's - Lincoln

This place was incredible. My husband ordered the Biscuit Bowl and that was extremely tasty. I ordered the 2+2+2: You can choose French toast or cinnamon French toast. I did the cinnamon French toast and it was incredible!!!! The best French toast I have had. We took a cinnamon crumble muffin to go and brought it back to the kids. They wanted to know how many we could buy to have every day. It was fluffy, perfect amount of cinnamon and crumble. I wish I had ordered more to take home. The coffee was perfect 👌 Love this place and we will be back. Service was friendly and welcoming. Thank you!!

What is there not to love about this place? Great service, very fair prices, and huge portions. One of my favorites is the pesto turkey bacon sandwich.. I crave it on the regular! Their regular eggs Benedict is amazing too! No tiny slices of ham here, nope!

The breakfast here is great! Easily one of the top choices in Lincoln. The menu is large with a decent variety of choices. Lots of omelettes, scrambles and Benedicts as well as some interesting options like breakfast tacos and burritos. The restaurant is well decorated and it's pretty neat to watch the trains go by if you're sitting in the back of the restaurant. Service is great and pretty quick. Come early on the weekend to avoid having to wait.

Great food and service with a cool ambiance! We called ahead to see if we needed a reservation and could have our dogs outside; everyone was very friendly over the phone and in person and we were seated right away with water and drinks for us and the dogs. Our waitress Christina was awesome and offered some restaurant favorites with fast service throughout the meal. We had some sort of pecan muffin which was delicious alongside an Irish coffee, and we also ordered the turkey sandwich and clam chowder perfect on our drizzly day. Will definitely be back!

This place is an absolute must if you're in Lincoln. It's a wonderful restaurant! First of all, the decor is fabulous. The service is outstanding! Our server, Kaitlyn/Kayln(I'm not sure because my hearing is not so good) was fantastic! She was attentive, informative, helpful and funny. She was the best. We started with their bacon flight. It has 4 pieces each with their own flavours which are jalapeno, cherry wood smoked, candied, and sweet Thai chili. It was phenomenal. I had the Corned beef hash and eggs which was outstanding! It tastes homemade and done perfectly. It was brimming with flavour. The details I asked for such as extra crispy potatoes and English muffin was great. My wife had the original Eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The hollandaise sauce was nice and creamy and full of flavour. The meat on it was a huge piece of ham cooked to perfection. The overall food experience made want to hug the chef. In conclusion, if there is a wait to be seated, it's worth it. Please don't miss this place.

I can't begin to describe how delicious everything is here. The muffins, Benedicts, scrambles... All of it is fantastic. My husband and I travel to Lincoln often and we always make a point to have breakfast here when we do. Take my advice and splurge on a muffin with butter while you're here 😊

The food is always excellent here. Reasonably priced. Good Bloody Mary’s. They’re open for dine in, which is wonderful during Covid since it is hard to find a place to eat with dine in. I wish I would remember to take good pictures of the food but I always gobble it up so fast. I’ll update this next time with more photos.

In historic old Lincoln, Awful Annie's is a quaint, popular breakfast/lunch restaurant. We were there on a Thursday for a late morning breakfast and didn't have to wait. We hear that there are random times when it's very busy and there is a wait. They have a very large breakfast menu... everything we had was delicious and service was great! Prices were a little higher than what we are used to. Parking is on the street...no meters, but there's a 2-hr limit. We would definitely recommend it.

The constant flow of people through the front doors told my girlfriend Jamie and I that Awful Annie's would be the place to eat during our short visit to Lincoln yesterday. Although the shops we came to the city were closed (it was Sunday after all), Awful Annie's made the whole trip worthwhile. Were we disappointed we couldn't shop at specific stores? If we were, Awful Annie's made us forget it all! And believe it or not, all I had was a simple burger. But it was the freshest burger I've ever had. She had an Italian sandwich (forget what it was called) and she loved it. And the prices were not bad at all! A great experience all around! We will be back to Lincoln in the next few weeks.... maybe just to eat at Awful Annie's again! Worth the 30 minute drive for sure!

Not happy with the service this morning. I ate about 1/4-1/3 of my eggs and asked for a box to take it home. They through my food OUT! And after 10 minutes of waiting for my food (which had been thrown out), I asked where my food was and they said we through it out! I told them we couldn't wait any longer and said can you just refund 1/2 the price and that will be fine. The owner came over and said "i don't want to refund your money because you ate some of your eggs" I told her we had been waiting over 20 minutes already and never mind! I personally won't be going back! I feel like as a business owner you should make it right no matter what and to instead of being attacking, be understanding of your customers and their needs!!! And to top it off, the food wasn't even that good!

The service was awesome and the food was even better! We came in on Father's Day which we expected a long wait. However, once we were seated the food came promptly. Our waitress Kaitlyn was amazing. So were the other servers that passed us and checked in!

Headed back to Reno my daughter definitely wanted to bring me here, the food was worth the wait but 28 minutes to get our food was not what I expected.

Well first of all I asked for over easy eggs I got hard eggs I asked for crispy bacon I got limp bacon The French toast was hard and the fruit wasn’t ripe So I guess you can say the place lived up to its name AWFUL

Awful Annie's is a unique regional attraction. The tantalizing and amusing menu shows skill in the kitchen and creative writing. Food and service is consistently great - and, like the big island of Hawaii, the daily specials show the menu is not static. Numerous wall decorations will brighten even glum spirits and spur conversation, The movie posters in the back are an integral part of the family story, which further enhances the experience. Our visitors fondly remark about the place months later.

On of The best steak sandwiches I have ever had at a restaurant. Flavorful and very tender. Can’t wait to have it again. Was cooked to medium rare like I requested. Perfect. Good job.

I miss both of Annie's locations. It was always my favorite place to meet my girlfriends or go to with my husband for his mimosas and eggs Benedict. I wanted the Scramble or a big, fresh salad. So, even though I moved to the Paradise area 8 years ago, tonight I am ordering 2 packages of the fabulous cinnamon orange tea. It's sweet without any sugar and I really like it iced. Thanks, Annie. I will always love you.

You will not find a better restaurant for a breakfast, brunch, or lunch anywhere in the Sacramento area. Get there early for it is very popular.
