Used to be decent and reliable. Not so anymore. They are consistently out of multiple menu items and when they do actually bother to make the food you ordered it comes out wrong. And lately they just keep canceling my orders outright for no apparent reason. Place an order, wait for 20 minutes, order is canceled. Total waste of time. Take your business elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure this guy was working the entire restaurant, alone. And did a lot better than most. He was running drive thru and cooking everything from what it looked like, and didn't seem stressed at all. Although there was a wait, it was to be expected since it was just him. Dude killed it.

About 7:15 PM tonight I placed an order for my husband and me for drive-thru pickup at the 48th and Van Dorn Burger King, got in my car and drove there, only to find the store dark, and orange cones blocking the drive thru. And then I got a message from my bank saying my purchase had been approved. How? No one was at the store!
I asked a man parked in the parking lot if he knew what was going on, and he said the staff had just walked out, turning off all lights, about 15 or so minutes earlier. He also shared that this is probably the worst BK in town, and that they frequently closed early or failed to open.
Last time I use their awful app or go to that store…unless they don’t refund my money to me!

So I order a Whopper melt thinking it was a Whopper ,comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and mustered whatever but has sourdough bread melted cheese. Well it consisted of sourdough bread cheese and burger that's it not even ketchup. Plainest tasting burger ever and on top of that my mom's Whopper Jr. Was bigger. Pretty dissatisfied with the Whopper melt . The Coke didn't taste right either I ened up pouring it out through it in the trash, fries sucked like normal.

Ordered Ch-king was told they were out for the evening. Changed to double whopper with cheese no onion and no lettuce. Got onion and lettuce. Asked for iced tea was told they were out for the evening. Waited in line for 10 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me. Burger was cold.... this location went downhill FAST....

48th and Van dorn I just want to say thank you for taking the time to put your shake machine together because anytime I feel like coming to Burger King I get a shake and I have to call around first to see where has shake machines are up because 17th and South Street never does 25th and o never does I don't understand why you would have something on your menu that you don't sell so I just want to say thanks for actually putting your shake machine together!!!

This Burger King gets 5 stars. It's food is always fresh and the workers there always get my food right and are always pleasant. I bring my kids in to play in the play structure and just hang out while they play (after we order something). It always seems like a lot of people are hanging in there after eating because that's the nice vibe that they have there.
