I took a friend here today to introduce him to some vegan Indian food. We purchased the following:
Masoor Dal - yellow lentils cooked with onions, tomatoes, red peppers, cumin seeds and spices.
Mah Dal - red kidney beans and black lentils cooked with tomatoes, ginger, spices and garnished with garlic fried in margarine.
Vegetable Samosa - fried pastry stuffed with potatoes and peas.
My friend love the food so much he said "eating healthy vegan food is like at another level!"

The fried rice was terrible no spice and just rice and eggs. Coke didn’t taste like a coke it was not carbonated. Fried rice tasted so much like Indian style not Chinese style didn’t have soy sauce .
If you want the real Indian taste food wouldn’t recommend it to any one.

So good! I got the combo with lamb curry and the flavor and cook of the meat were incredible.

Bhutanese native chef trained in New York!
Our family has eaten hundreds of meals here since the Tandoor opened in 1999. The take-out and dine in experience is the best in Lincoln! The food is wholesome and delicious and high quality meat is used. The portion for the price can’t be beat! The chef combines recipes learned from his mother on Bhutan and adds tastes of India; therefore Tandoor has a unique taste of its own that is superior to other Indian restaurants. Children are entertained easily by watching Renzin prepare naan in the clay oven through a custom observation window!

The food was good I just wish they offered more naan with the meals purchased. The naan they have is a must order (order all of them!) Big portions and fast service. Staff were all friendly and quick to service.

The place had a nice atmosphere; not too loud nor too smelly. The menu selections were various and decently priced. The waiters were friendly and not pushy or monotoned. The chicken and lamb were so delicious and incredibly tender! The only thing I wasn't satisfied about was the portion size. I only wish if the chicken/beef dishes were bigger!

This is by far my favorite Indian restaurant in Lincoln. Tastes like heaven, burns like hell! Chicken Vindaloo level 10 spice. Their menu only goes to 5, but they'll do 10 if you ask, and they just informed me that I'm the only person to ever do it. If you need to clear the sinuses or just like good flavor, I'd recommend that you stop in here!
