Review Outback Steakhouse - Lincoln

I was disappointed in this visit. I had a Blooming Onion, which had good flavor, but there were chunks of the outer dried onion skin on a lot of it and with every bite I was having to pic large pieces of it out of my mouth. The sweet potato was very good. The chicken strips were tiny, dry, and lacked flavor. The French fries were sub par. The wait staff did a good job keeping drinks coming and were pleasant to interact with.

It was off to a rough start with the service experience, but the waitress stepped her game up and the food was delicious! I do feel service slacks anytime you eat solo anywhere. I hope waitress and waiters seeing this review keep that in mind the next time they see someone eating solo.

Though our waitress was good and our drinks were fine but the food was far from acceptable. One of my favorite all time items to order, the blooming onion, was over cooked and you can tell that the oil was old. As for the main course my boyfriend and I both ordered our sirloins medium rare and the picture I have attached is how the steaks were served to us. Outback used to be one of my favorite places to go to and now I’m not sure if I’ll be returning.

Honestly haven't been here in a while so I was excited to return. But it didn’t meet my expectations. I had got a potato under cooked and seated with out silverware. When my salad came I had to wait a good ten minutes to even eat it because our waiter was no where to be found. The orange juice was sour my 3 year old refused to drink it and on top of that the food was dry. So sad 120$ for barely edible food.

Service and food was absolute trash! We ordered appetizer and salads to start with, got it brought out and had to ask for our own silverware & for bread we never received. Also had to ask for our own refills and anytime we asked for anything it took forever to receive. After waiting 45mins/1hr for our food it came out cold. Steak was ordered for medium well, came out super well done. It was burnt and too tough to eat. Asked for a manager, and a kitchen manager named Sean came to our table. There was no Professionalism nor customer service! He didn’t approach our table stating he was a manger or anything, literally had to ask if he was one and his status. He was very unapologetic. I’m surprised outback is still in business considering their service and food! Very disappointed and will never be returning!

Arrived before 4PM on Sunday because I had a 3.5 hour drive for work that day. Only about 6 other tables were seated at that time. Both my wife and I ordered potato soup. After finishing our soup the waiter told us twice that he would have our meals out "shortly". It was well more than a half hour until they arrived. When they came my Sirloin was COLD, my Wife's potato was cold and her ribs were only slightly warm. The only thing hot were my fries. They wanted to remake everything but I needed to get on the road. I didn't have the time to wait. We were not charged. We were expecting a nice meal and had a bad experience and I ended up driving without having a meal. Very poor performance.

Went on Valentine’s Day and the experience was amazing! They were extremely busy but they were getting everyone seated promptly and the hostess was extremely nice. Once we got seated the waiter who took care of us was really nice and pointed us in the right direction for drinks and an app. The food was really good and steak was perfectly cooked! The coconut shrimp was amazing and the overall experience was 1st class! I would highly recommend this outback to anyone looking for a great night out in lincoln!

Even with the shortage if staff I found this Outback restaurant to be professional in its service. My steak wasn't cooked to my thinking of what Medium would be, but the seared in taste was still there! I ordered a raspberry tea slightly sweetened, and my server knocked it out of the park! It was one ofvthe best I've had in Lincoln Nebraska. If you get a chance to visit this location I sincerely feel you won't be disappointed. Bring a big appetite though, cause the menu has many items that are very tempting!
