Walking into the place felt like arriving at a big family gathering in someone's kitchen. Lady who runs the place was warm, kind, and welcoming. She went to great lengths to make sure everyone in the place was happy with what they had, and to offer everyone other things. She also gives samples, so you know you like something before you order it. That's pretty darn special.
The food is amazing. There was only one sample I tasted that I didn't like, and everything else was delicious. Much of it is spicy, but not too spicy. Mom had the lamb, and I got a combo with the lamb and the chicken korma. Wonderful. We also got a couple of spinach pies, also delicious. (Basically like spinach baklava without sugar or honey.) We took home four baklava roses, because we wanted them but couldn't eat them after that much food. Each of us had one later, and they're just as awesome as they look in the display case.
I would give this place six stars if I could.
This is the best Mediterranean food in town! The lady running the place was so warm and welcoming, giving descriptions and samples of everything before you order. You can hear the love in her voice for making people happy and the passion she has for food. I would highly recommend eating here for a great price and cozy environment.
