We stopped here while traveling based on recommendations from google for “best local coffee shops” and the first time we walked in we actually walked out because nobody acknowledged us. We decided to give them a second chance and came back. I was very impressed with their sandwiches- the homemade bread on the sandwiches was delightful and I've never had anything like it. I also tried a cinnamon roll since they're advertised as the best around and they did not disappoint- again, the homemade dough really makes all the difference and added a unique touch. I was a little disappointed with the coffee because there was limited selection and they didn’t really have any “unique” flavors. I got the almond flavored iced latte with oat milk and didn’t finish it, as I didn’t find it very appetizing- maybe an off day or an off drink but it was lacking in flavor and tasted very watery to me. My husband and daughter both tried their cookies and thought they were great. I would definitely come back for some sandwiches!
Phenomenal place. Absolute GEM! Just passing through town, decided to try this place. Obviously quaint and lovely immediately upon entry. Love the food and very generous portions. Absolutely perfect. Clear FIVE stars!!
This may actually be 4.5 stars, but the entire experience makes it 5. The only thing I would change: I wish they had offered to heat up the ham and cheese croissants before serving. Other than that, the croissants were delicious, flaky, buttery and filled with generous amounts of ham and cheese. The latte and cappuccino were just what you want.
The moon-inspired smoothies, crafted with quality ingredients, are visually stunning and creatively delicious. The friendly staff and moon-themed decor add to the magical experience.
Made a stop in here back in July on our way to Maine from Vermont. Their Turkey Bacon sandwich was pretty much perfect for me. It's basically the sandwich I will put together from menus at other sandwich places. It had turkey, bacon, pickles, tomato, lettuce, cheddar, and chipotle mayo. I may be a simple person, but it was SO GOOD! The baked goods and hot drinks were good as well. Tried to go back in October, but the whole town was slammed with holiday traffic, so we skipped it.
We stopped here couple of times for breakfast in our stay in NH. Really good veg. wraps and sandwiches options. Blueberry muffin has our heart ❤️. It was so delicious. Can still go back for this!! Friendly owner (male). Love the ambience. Cozy and beautiful. PS- Raspberry danish is super sweet (they need to revise its taste).
New owners (very friendly) since a year from what we gathered and our first time here. They either kept the quality super high or brought it up another level. All the food was excellent, we came three times in two days (do we need to say more). In the mornings we had breakfast sandwiches, smoothie, and their pastries. They home bake everything and it’s top notch.
My friend had americano’s and equal quality both days, my almond milk latte’s were excellent. The owner made mine on the 1st day and I love foam in my latte and he made it perfect. Second day was still very great, truly, but 1st day was perfection.
Overall all staff had a smile, wanted to be there and sandwiches for lunch were also on home made bread and toasted on the grill to give that nice buttery edge to it (see pics). Grilled cheese affordably priced and on point.
We will be back every time we come. Consider this place for (late) lunch and breakfast, they have it all.
This cafe has a great atmosphere, great staff and delicious food. My friends and I stopped for lunch and had the best sandwiches. It was healthy and deliciously made by a special chef. We all enjoyed having lunch there along with some pastries and the vegan brownies were super yummy. Took some to go 😄
We went to Moon Cafe because Flapjacks was packed. They had good coffee and kind staff, but a very underwhelming, overpriced wrap. I got the vegetarian wrap that ended up being mostly spinach and had little else. The whole wrap was bland and the egg texture was perplexing. My husband got a different one with sausage that he really enjoyed and seemed like a more even mix of inclusions. Maybe my wrap was a fluke? An expensive one for sure. They do have free Wi-Fi and plenty of (almost too much) space, so could be a good place to check emails and whatnot. Not very intimate or cozy, though, and the moon theme is more comical, sciencey, and goofy than whimsical or cute. Probably wouldn’t go back.
We went there as a group, we are returning from our weekend getaway. We had brunch there. Their chef specials vegetarian sandwich with the house made bread was super delicious. I will go there every time when I’m even 30 min away. Also their chocolate croissants and brownies are the best.
