Great, fresh, and delicious food. The calamari is amazing. The portions are very small so expect a pricey bill with a possible still hungry feeling. The customer service is above par and the atmosphere is really nice! Great ambiance!! Would give a perfect 5 stars but the only complaint i have is everything lacked that taste that you brag to others about. Other than that i will be returning to find that special taste with other menu items

Shakou is simply excellent. I think it's the best sushi restaurant in the immediate area, with a price to match. It's definitely a more expensive place, but the quality of the fish and the rolls has always been outstandingly excellent. We got a two person boat (in picture)z and I particularly recommend the green dragon roll (the roll near the bow of the boat), plus a few additional rolls, seafood miso soup, and green tea. Absolutely excellent sushi, the soup was great, and the service was extremely fast. Figure the quantity of food we had and it was still brought out promptly. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Went here for my Anniversary and it did NOT disappoint! The food was Amazing! The Atmosphere was fabulous and service phenomenal!! Brody was our server and if allowed I will always ask to be seated in his area. Just to be clear when we got there it was pretty empty. Within 10mins it was completely booked! But, we would never have known because Brody was so attentive he never skipped a beat. Thank you for making our Anniversary that much more special! ❤️

Dined here a few years ago and they lived mostly up to the last experience. For appetizers, we had the Gyoza and Calamari, both solidly good. My entrée was the Tokyo steak and shrimp which was tremendous. My wife split sushi with her son: Urban Heat & Rainbow Row. She also had the Divers Scallop and Shrimp dish.... and it seemed to be lacking risotto. Staff was friendly and attentive all around. A solid choice if you're looking for Asian fusion atmosphere.

Took the wife out for a date night yesterday after work. I’ve been having a taste for some good sushi and she’s always wanted to have me try Shakou Restaurants. As soon as we entered, this restaurant was beautiful to look at. Large crystal chandeliers are positioned throughout the entire establishment, accommodated with beautiful table placement and decor. This place definitely offers high quality, fancy vibes with an eye grabbing layout and outstanding service team. On the first floor, we sat at the sushi bar, watching what would seem to be a large team of Itamaes and Shokunins. These skilled artists work at a constant rate, preparing incredible variations of sushi and magnificently delicious dishes. As the plates were being sent out, we watched the masterpieces be taken away to be delivered to the tables throughout the restaurant. My wife and I were very excited for our experience. When given our menu, we were given a small silver coaster that had a QR code. We scanned it with our smartphones and began our journey through the menu. There were three types of sushi that we tried: Jalapeno maki rolls, Dragon Fire signature maki rolls, and Midori. Each of these dishes, along with ALL of Shakou Restaurants are prepared in house, providing incredibly fresh and delightful experiences within your mouth. Your taste buds will be dancing for joy and your tummy will be satisfied by the end of the meal. Each bite we took, our mouth was exploding with incredible flavors. The presentation was inviting and again, a work of art. This was by far the best sushi I’ve ever had so far and highly recommend. The only caution I have is to be prepared for an expensive experience. It’ll be a while until we go back, but when we do, it’s a wonderful experience. It’s an experience that’s worth trying at least once.

My hunny & I went here for the first time a few weeks back. Oh my goodness we had a ball! I love the atmosphere it has both an intimate & lovely feel. We went on a Saturday around 8pm & the wait was about 5 mins I guess we got lucky haha. The menu is so interesting & has a good amount of choices. The cocktail menu! I got the Key Lime Martini & ohh my goodness it tastes just like it! I also got a citrus mule oooo that thing was so good! Their sushi rolls are bomb. I got the ramen & that was bomb. My hunny got fish & it was delicious 😋 our waiter was very attentive & it was just a really really nice night. Will DEF be back!

Love Shakou! The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The food is very fresh and high quality. The atmosphere is fresh with new age hit EDM music with higher end classy fixtures.

Shakou is an amazing place with a wonderful atmosphere. It's not cheap but the food is excellent! Drinks are fantastic! Service is outstanding! You won't be disappointed.

Good was great service was subpar would recommend just based on atmosphere and food very delicious. Sushi is on point and NY steak was delicious with the jumbo shrimp

This place is stunning and such a cool vibe. The drinks are strong and the food is delicious! Do not skip out on appetizers, they were amazing. Service was top tier on top of fresh and flavorful sushi!
