Switchback Bar & Grill

Both the service and the food was very good. My hubby had the chicken fried steak which was served with brown gravy instead of country gravy which was a little weird but he said it was very good. His veggies were steamed perfectly and the waffle fries were thick and yummy! I had the chicken parm which was very good and a very generous portion. It came with a house salad which was very fresh and delicious as well. My son enjoyed his steak, even ranking it in line with his favorite steak house. We would definitely eat here again.

Have been here before (3 or 4 years ago) and while I understand that I am in Libby, MT and the dining options are limited, it was a bit ridiculous to wait almost an hourly plus for Ho hum food. We did order plenty of beer to keep us going & they were pretty busy, but the food is mediocre at best. Our waitress was very good, but the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. I didn’t expect at lot and they delivered. I know that good staff are find across the country and Libby is no exception. Fortunately all the alcohol and the family connections made for a great evening!

Never in my life have I had another server tell us to be considerate to our server whom we told her we were not mad at her we are just asking simple questions and all we asked for was a free kids refill drink of Chocolate milk and their food which we paid for since they where starving and wait for over an hour for cold food. Miss ABBY should leave her nose out of other people's sections and never start yelling or trying to embarrass guests. We didn't nothing wrong by asking only two questions about our children. Our table had two bills which equaled over $150 in total and because of her rude and inappropriate behavior cost them a family customer. My husband and I and my two baby come in ever morning and have breakfast no problem wait staff is amazing! But tonight we came with 4 children and 4 adults and we're told they don't seat large tables on Friday and Saturday but just sat a 13 top. But before they sat us the cleaned off a table to fit us there. And then after waiting an hour for cold appetizers and then being told everything above we got our food only for half the meal to be cold and I finally asked for a manager and there was no manager there at all and Abby decided to scream across the place saying she wasn't being rude then stuck her nose up in the air like she was better then anyone there. Don't understand why there isn't a manager on one of their most busy nights of the week.. my children left there crying because they had to take their food to go which was cold

We walked in at 3pm. Three different waitresses watched us walk in and seat ourselves. It took until 3:10 for a waitress to even bring us our menus. The restaurant is almost empty, 4 tables in total (us being one of them), and it's now 4pm and we are yet to receive our food. Finally got our food....I had to send back me cross cut fries as they taste freezer burnt. The next set was not much better....not impressed. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...
