Wish I knew the owners name but he was a gentlemen. After 6 months inside we wanted to sit outside which was locked. Waitress said it was closed and couldn’t be opened. But the bartender (owner) made an exception and opened the door. Will certainly not be forgotten. Will recommend and am coming back. Lexington is beautiful and feels good supporting a business owner that cares.

Awesome small town feel with a very nice Marina view restaurant. The business is run by a nice family and the servers are very nice and fast. The bartender Chris makes the best extra dirty martini 🍸 around!

We came in during the art fair, the restaurant was packed but we only had to wait 20 minutes. Our waitress was running her ass off but still gave us great service! My salad was huge and the chicken on it t was perfect! My partner had the Ruben it too was huge and he said delicious. The homemade chips were awesome. We will be back again.

The new owners have done an outstanding job renovating and making this restaurant a beautiful place to drink and eat. Sushi is top notch, great food, great service... Great desserts. If you haven't been here in a while, it's time to stop in. Our waitress Brooke was very sweet and did an outstanding job!

Had dinner last nite in one of the igloos. It was perfect! It was warm even though it was only 14 degrees outside. Very romantic and the service and food was awesome! Don’t miss the bacon wrapped dates - they were to die for! Both of our dinners and the red wine were delicious (trout and scallops).

This place is terrific! Great food and drinks, right by the water. The fish sandwich and the calamari were lightly breaded and fried to perfection, which is not an easy thing to do. The wedge salad and French onion soup were delicious. Their Cole slaw is creamy and sweet, without being too much of either. Most importantly, the bloody Mary was inspired! The bartender mentioned that lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce were some of the secrets ingredients. Highly recommend checking this place out!

The Windjammer is a great restaurant, recently rejuvinated with much improved outdoor & covered outdoor seating. BUT... They have added a sushi bar and that sent us up and over the edge because we haven't really had great sush since I returned to Michigan, in 2016, from Chicago (I really miss Mitch at Toro), but then we found it with Jeff at the Surfsider Sushi Bar at the Windjammer in Lexington. After 'Jammer re-modeled and re-opened it seems like the menu has been renovated and rejeuvenated as well as the dining area. At Sunday Brunch, we noticed some sushi rolls and we were thinking an extension of grocery store fare -- boy were we wrong. The seared bluefin is something I cannot have enough of. We made arrangements to sit a 16-course Omakase (Chef's Choice) and had such a great dinner that we made reservations for another on our way out. Anyone, well, most any trained chef, can cut up fish. Getting good, sushi quality fish and then having them made into combinations that blossom into delightful bites is not something that you can easily find. We were presented with three different pieces of mackeral and rated them on taste, saltiness, etc. They say a picture is worth many words, so see some of what we were eating (it's more difficult to take, & track, pictures while you are enjoying a meal -- and my intent was to enjoy the meal, so my apologies if I've mislabeled any of the pictures). Just wanted to say I appreciate you guys so much and what you’re doing! We don’t have to drive over an hour to have a very nice meal wether it be steak, seafood, a little bit of global selections and now a full on sushi bar! And so far we always leave satisfied!
