Review Nick's Place - Lexington

Great food, super beef sandwich has about 3/4 lbs of the best, freshest roast beef, i think they roast in house. They make great 6ft subs as well, chicken kabob salad another favorite.

I needed something for a pot luck brunch and I’ve always loved the calzones from Nick’s place. I called hoping they’d be able to make something breakfast-y as I wanted something warm as opposed to the standard baked goods (muffins, croissants, etc) and they did not disappoint. I ordered a breakfast pizza (egg, peppers, onions, bacon, sausage, jalapeños and cheese); a veggie and egg calzone; a spinach, mushroom, egg and cheese calzone; and a ham, egg and cheese calzone. Everything was delicious and they were so accommodating. Great great idea if you need to feed breakfast or brunch to a crew of any size. They delivered to the tennis hut on the Arlington/Winchester line without a hitch and everything was still piping hot. Thank you!

I love their meal deals especially the deal with the pizza and buffalo wing combo. I am also a fan of their fries which are coated and tastes yummy. The jalapeno peppers are filled with the creamest cream cheese and tastes devine. I usually order through grubhub and just pickup from the store.

Amazing food and great service. Came in at 9:30 and they had no problem serving me at all they went above and beyond with the costumer service even offering me the extra slices of pizza that they didn’t sell

Used to live in the area and would frequent here. Last visit to this establishment was a takeout order of a roast beef dinner and a tuna sub. For those who are not familiar, the dinners come with salad. While enjoying my salad I found a small bug in it. I assumed that the lettuce didn't get properly rinsed. Ruined my appetite. Called up and asked for a refund of just the dinner, the sub was fine. They claimed they couldn't just refund us the cost of the dinner, they had to cancel the whole transaction and run the card again for just the tuna sub. The owner tells us to check our bank account in a few days and guarantees us that the money for the original transaction will be refunded. It hasn't. Charged for a dinner that was contaminated with pests and charged twice for the sub that actually was edible. Do not recommend

pizza crust not homemade{generic} but buttery. avoid this slice service. x-tra cheese run off from center of pizza result of an unbalanced delivery

I loved this place until my daughter just brought home a small pizza for $17. I called them to confirm and the let me know that was the price. It tasted great but not worth $17.

Price is right and the food is great. I've eaten there many times and always left there satisfied. The owner seems to know what the customers like and always greets you with a friendly smile. I especially like there pizza, the sauce is delicious and there special of the day is always a nice change. Highly recommend.

Look, I was in the Navy over 20 years but no where in the US or the world do they make a Greater Boston Sub Sandwich. I now live near Springfield Mass and can't even get one there. Whenever I'm visiting family in Waltham, I always stop by Nick's for a Sub. Service? Really? Its a walk up lunch counter, always been adequately friendly and efficient in my book. Some of the faces change but those Subs have been solid for many many years. Goodonya Nick!

Today's special was chicken kob bob salad. It would have been too much for me to eat at lunch. The woman behind toe counter suggested I have the chicken on the side. I had some for lunch and brought the remainder home for my dinner. Truly delicious. So grateful to the suggestion.

I think it's a great place, been here for so many years. Owner and people that work there are incredibly nice and attentive. They work hard to please their customers!!!

Nicks Place catered my daughters sweet 16 party . Service was great . The food was amazing . Best chicken fingers around !

This review is from 9/16/16 Again, tonight received awful service from here. I've been a customer since they opened, and recently the service has been hideous. The last 3 or 4 times I've been in, I've tried to order a slice of pizza and every time it has been an issue. The first time my daughter wanted pepperoni and they only had cheese. So I asked the girl if she could throw a few pepperoni on and toss it in the oven. She claimed the the pepperoni was raw and it wouldn't cook that quick. ok then! So the next few times, they've been "out of slices, and it's too late to make more". Tonight it was over an hour away from close, 845p to be exact. The times before has been around 730-8pm (hours away from closing). To me, this is just really bad business for a pizza place not to have slices for sale, especially cheese. Then to top it off, this woman very snidely said "why don't you just buy a small pizza!?" Really!?? Because a slice is $2 and a small is like $10 and I don't want to waste money or food! So, again tonight I went to Andrina's Pizza in Arlington on Mass Ave., (781-648-4800 just in case any one needs good pizza and service with a smile) where they GLADLY made a FRESH pepperoni pizza and cut me a slice, no problem! I really don't even know why I keep trying to go to Nicks, I guess old habits die hard. The pizza is better at Andrina's anyways, crispy Italian pizza and the sauce is yummy too! Anyways...that was the final straw with Nicks! I will no longer try to order here simply to avoid the aggravation of bad customer service, rude people and mediocre pizza...✌buh-bye Nicks

The worst service today! From annoyed person on the phone to annoyed person at counter and then had to wait for 35 minutes for my food. Never coming back again!
