El Paso Mexican Restaurant

We showed up unexpectedly with a party of 15 and the entire staff was extremely accommodating! The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. The only thing I would change was the temperature in the restaurant. It was very hot, thermostat on the wall said 83 degrees, that affected some of our parties appetites, but the waitress said they were working on it, so once that gets fixed we will definitely be back!

My friend and I went to El Paso tonight for dinner. We had a terrible experience with our waitress ... When we sat down our waitress walked up and we asked for a separate bowl of salsa and she kept shaking her head looking at us weird. I asked again for a separate bowl of salsa and then she rudely said "drinks?" After a few minutes she came back to take our order, I told her I wanted a shrimp taco and she seemed confused when I said I wanted a side of beans and rice. She said it came with rice and I said okay. When she brought the food, she brought me a three shrimp taco dinner which is not what I asked for. When I told her I asked for "a taco" she argued with me and said I should of said I wanted "a side of taco" which makes no sense. I've been to a couple of other mexican restaurants and have asked for a shrimp taco and everything is perfectly fine. She then proceeded to throw her hands up and huff and puff and get the menu and point at the 3 tacos dinner which I told her I did not ask for She told me to take one taco off the plate and took the rest back, which was fine because that is what I asked for. I haven't had great experiences here before but this one has been the worst, and will be my last.
