Great Find. My husband and I were looking to get some sushi the other night and found this gem through urbanspoon. Although some of the recent reviews were were not all positive, we gave it a try. I focused on getting bunch of Sushi while my husband tried a little bit of everything. The restaurant itself is huge and wasn't crowed while we were there. Our waitress was very attentive to us, we ate a ton of food for very little cost, and the food was surprisingly delicious. The only food complaint would be the American style food was not so great, but hey why would you go to an Asian cuisine buffet for mac and cheese anyway? I would definitely suggest this place to others and I'm sure we'll be back! (try their sweet doughnuts!)

It's an under recognized miracle that this is both the cheapest Chinese buffet in town and also manages to be the tastiest.

Great new twist on Chinese Buffet. I really liked it, lunch buffet, now note I am not a big fan of buffet eating due to over eating, but if you can control your portion sizes you will love it, different options...salad bar, sushi bar, creat your own dish & they cook it up for you like a pasta bar, old school favorites, desserts and of course the kid friendly options. Nice roomy interior and ample seating and room between tables. very nice, not your ordinary Chinese buffet!

Happy Accident. My husband and I stopped here while traveling south. It was such a nice find! I love that you can pick all of the ingredients you want and then the chef cooks it for you hibachi-style. If that wasn't enough - they also have an expansive selection of typical Chinese buffet food. Everything I tried was very good.
I wish we could have a restaurant like this closer to home!

Honestly, I was surprised at the selection and quality offered here. it is massive but everything I sampled (and being my first visit, I tried a lot) was fresh and flavorful. some Chinese-American staples such as gen. tso's were a bit sweet and nit as spicy as I would have liked but all chicken was tender and juicy. nothing was dried out, tough or gristly. sushi was tasty as well. overall, if they can maintain this level of food, I will be back often.

Questionable clientel, good food. Tried it for the first time last night for dinner and the place was packed. Even though sushi is usually considered a bit more upscale, lets just say that I doubt most of the people there are interested in the sushi (which works out for the sushi lovers). Sushi is pretty good, you get more than what you pay for as a lot of it is good quality raw and cooked sushi and some of it is quite inventive.

The other buffet stuff seemed to be above average as well, with a number of the usual Chinese buffet items and a few things you wouldn't find elsewhere. Fried zucchini taste like it came right out of a county fair, which is awesome. They have something labeled as a "taco" which is unlike any other taco I've ever had, in a good way.

I was too stuffed from the sushi and other stuff to try the hibachi, desserts or chocolate fountain (great idea), but it all looked good as well

Considering how long this place has been here and how popular it already is looks like word is getting out that the greater Lexington area has a new top Chinese buffet. Go give it a try.

Agree with Robert Z who called it a warehouse. The place is huge inside with multiple dining nooks, although there aren't that many prepared dishes. A huge quirk is that one has to prepay upon entry. There are no signs posted, and we walked up to the hostess desk before being barked at unintelligibly by the cashier.

The food area consists of a Mongolian Grill (called Hibachi here), prepared sushi area, salad bar with chocolate fountain, raw bar (shrimp/mussels), Chinese food, and American food. There seemed to be plenty of Asian diners, who seemed to target the seafood dishes like clams in black bean sauce, swordfish (!), fried frog legs, and salt and pepper shrimp. There weren't many prepared Chinese dishes besides the seafood. I recall seeing the standard soups, egg rolls, Pepper Steak, sauteed string beans, sauteed baby bok choy, and Chicken Mei Fun. The American side seemed to be standard SYSCO fare like fried zucchini and fried chicken wings, but also had mid-level SYSCO fare like meat loaf and a pork roast that looked OK. The sushi side had standard American rolls made and tasted about supermarket quality, nowhere near sushi restaurant quality, while the Mongolian grill had good meat selections.

For dessert, the chocolate fountain seemed popular with most, but the line moved so slowly. There was a good selection of dipping fruit, with fresh honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple, apples, and strawberries, along with cut up cake pieces. There was also a self-serve hard ice cream station with ten choices.

Service was standard for a Chinese buffet. Servers look like Asian college students and stayed on top of clearing plates and refills, but are not talkative. Serving station people seemed friendly, but ran out of plates. There also is a play area for children with arcade games and a bouncy ball area.

All in all, it's currently quite good by buffet standards. The seafood choices seem fresh and are a great value, and the Mongolian grill makes up for the lack of variety of prepared dishes. Draft beer is also a steal at 99 cents. At $8.99/person at dinner, I do not know how long this quality level is sustainable, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
