Ordered a fairly standard appetizer with our order which was completely forgotten. Our entrees came first The food was good, however the service was terrible. Our server vanished but the more disappointing thing is that the other staff didn't even try to cover whatsoever for him. They just simply stared at the screen or flirted with members of the opposite sex.
Food was at least decent, if you want to wait for it and don't actually want it all. Sad.

Went on the 4th of July. Place was slammed to capacity, but Sharon did a great job taking care of us. The food was amazing and the portions were generous! We'll definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

I love this place! It replaced the original Cheap Side Restaurant. They have a fully stocked bar including an amazing bourbon selection. Their signature drinks are very tasty and the bourbon choices are nearly endless. Just because you can't see them, the clear liquors are below the main display bar. Excellent martinis at excellent prices. And don't even get me started on their food. Try the Brisket tacos! OMG! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!

We were pleasantly surprised at how good our food was after reading so many negative reviews. The burgers are pretty standard and they come with a good amount of perfectly cooked fries. A bit pricey, but the food didn't take too long and the atmosphere was good.

August 2018 - Updated from April 2018 (Prices are MUCH better and they have a proper lunch menu)
Downgraded from 4-3 stars because of a lack of service and no improvement on the tea. My food (Fish and Chips) was fantastic. The waitress was pleasant and I could tell she was working very hard. This is more of a reflection on leadership and others. Summary below:
Prices were right this time, my food was excellent, tea was still near clear but not horrible (by my standards not of my coworkers) BUT, when I walked in it took several minutes to be greeted/noticed, when I was greeted, it was obvious they had ONE waitress working upstairs, the bar dining area, outside, etc. And doing non waitress things as well. She did great during my meal and checked on me many times. She brought my check early and said something about having to be elsewhere there for a moment and to pay the bartender if she wasn't around. When I finished I waited for her for a bit, then I decided to go to the bartender. ....he told me I had to pay her. grrr, I sat down and waited SEVERAL more minutes as patiently as I could. Then I got up and went looking for her and a guy I am guessing is a owner or something asked if he could help me and I told him I needed to pay and go; he was getting ready to take me back to the bartender when she came in from the patio. So what would have been a pretty good experience was a very dampened by the lack of customer service soft skills on the bartender's part. ....I might still go back. Maybe they will have more help next time. I was the only patron on the bar area aside from two guys that sat at the bar and the bartender waited on them and took their payment from what I recall. There were some outside and elsewhere. Too many areas for one little short woman to keep up with IMO she was in a run every time I saw her.
April 2018 - Brisket Sandwich was excellent, fries were pretty good. For the price maybe a bit much for lunch or the amount of meat on the sandwich. The tea was very weak. Basically tinted sugar water. Love seeing Cheapside back open. Sorry to see the name.only survives in the entrance time and mirror.

Wow. Was excited to try the new restaurant. Noone was anywhere to be found to seat us. Asked a waiter and he said just seat yourself. After seating there 10 minutes I asked the same waiter how do we get someone to wait on us. He said he would get someone. A girl showed up who I believe was the bartender and she brought menus and are drinks. The bar was very busy as it was Thursday night live. I noticed the other waiter just walking around. We waited 35 minutes and walked out. Two other waiters in that area just kept walking right by us. This is the same thing that happen the last 3 times we tried to eat there when it was Cheapside. I hope this isn't the case but they lost are business that night.

If I could give this place a -9 I would. As I’m setting here writing this review I’m still waiting on my check for the drinks I’ve gotten and no food insight. (Which I ordered an hour ago.) I know that this is a new restaurant but this isn’t the ownsers first rodeo. They also own Village Idiot, Blue Heron, and Grey Goose. I’m blown away that they would attach their name to this restaurant.

WASTED server from this bar was completely rude to myself and friends.. we had been sitting at the outside tables for at least an hour before the guy from the inside came out, dumped our drink onto the ground at 11pm and told us that we couldn't sit there bc our drinks were from the bar next door. he couldnt even get his words out clear enough for us to understand..... we will never return. miss cheapside too much.
by far the the worst bar on TNL
