Chicken wings were large and delicious.
Fried Egg pizza in on point.
No 5 for slightly warm beer :(
Great place to eat and have drinks before a CATS game!
Update (June, 2016): We ordered the broccoli cheddar bites, which were very tasty and an interesting alternative to otherwise routine appetizer options. The garden salads were fresh and filling (with house-made ranch dressing). The Italian (spicy sausage, green peppers and olives) and pepperoni pizzas hit the spot and did not disappoint (NY-style, hand-rolled, thin crust). I also ordered a piece of key lime pie, which was extremely refreshing after eating so much pizza - our waiter told us that a chef at Sullivan University bakes these pies for Grey Goose, and it was outstanding.
One of our favorite pizzas in Lexington. A nice, renovated space, albeit small (especially during the winter when the patio cannot be used), and there is now a convenient parking lot nearby. We recently ordered carry-out, which was ready in only fifteen minutes. The buffalo wings (half-dozen), served with carrots, celery and ranch dressing, were good enough, but nothing extraordinary (same goes for the chocolate cheesecake, with strawberries). The real winner here was the cheese pizza - New York style thin crust, real Italian style tomato and basil sauce, and premium Mozzarella whole milk cheese.
One of my top favorite places! The pizza is just right and always get friendly service! I did go on my birthday one year and there is no freebies for dessert but other than that it's a great place!
The cod sandwich has nice flavor, portion size is more then enough. The black bean burger with fried egg is outstanding. My issue is the frozen crinkle cut fries. They are a mistake. Tasteless and under cooked. Hand cut fries are the answer. Other then that a very enjoyable place. Look forward to coming back for the pizza.
Went on a Saturday night with some out of town relatives. We ordered 2 pizzas and both were fantastic. Our only criticism is with the waitress. She would stop at the table and ask "do you want anything". The better way to ask the same question and make your guest feel wanted and valued would have been to ask "is there anything that I can get for you". Other than this piece, we enjoyed the food and enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely will be back.
Solid downtown eatery. Service was so-so even on a slow night, but the food was on point. The fish and chips were surprisingly good and well-seasoned. The beer cheese seemed pretty generic, but overall it was a great dining experience.
I am not usually the type to write reviews for restaurants and the like but after such a lovely experience at The Grey Goose last night I feel like I have to say something! I went for a date night with my boyfriend who had been to the restaurant before and thought I would like it, he was definitely right. Despite being a busy nice Sunday night we got seated on the patio just around sunset so the atmosphere was to die for. As far as food goes, we split a pizza and had a couple of drinks both of which were totally delicious. The service was certainly slow due to it being busy but I didn't mind the slow pace because of how nice it was outside. Overall, The Grey Goose has certainly made its way onto my list of great restaurants in Lexington!
Burger I had was perfect. Great outdoor eating area. Could be a fun place to take a large group for drinks on the patio.
Wings weren't very good but the pizza was outstanding.
Perfect for a date night. We went when it was cold out, but the patio area was still warm, cozy and wonderfully comfortable. The food was amazing. I loved very bit of this place.
