Making food hands some of the best bbq I have ever had if I could give 10 stars I would
Stopped in for the new menu with friends tonight. Between us went with Southwestern bowl, Mac and cheese bowl, classic club and Blackhawk burger. They were slammed for dinner but did a good job getting the food out and keeping drinks filled. Minor snafu on the club but our waitress Shannon fixed it on my to go order. Giant piece of coffee cake. We'll be back!
Rob Latimer, who commented, about his Friday 7/7, experience, didn't even leave enough to cover his bill. We were extremely busy and short staffed, we had 200patrons, 2 servers and 2 cooks.
We stopped on a Wednesday evening, and found a somewhat busy restaurant. One server that we believe is the current owner. Service was a tad slow, but we were in no hurry. We ordered burgers which were really good. The service is not as good as it was with the previous owner. Not sure if it’s a shortage of help or if the new owner is just trying to save a few bucks.
Got 3 tacos...and dessert. Actually two desserts. Their peanutbutter pie and carrot cake are amazing! Big pieces!The carrot cake has a lot of frosting. Next time, I'll skip the tacos.
Saturdays are a must visit. Those are BBQ days, and it is delicious. Any other day you walk in, you will be greeted and have efficient service.
Food was good. Limited beer selection. Drinks were slow, but everything else was good.
Great food for the price and prompt service. Nice place for a family or for a friendly spot to meet up.
