A dear friend introduced me to this place recently for dinner...all I can say is WOW. AMAZING food, such friendly and gracious service...it was like sitting at your family table for a 5 star meal. Highly, highly recommend this place, it's one of my new favorites. So excellent, I was on a food high the rest of the night!!!! The place was very clean and enjoyable as well!

We tried Antojitos del Peru for the first time yesterday and it was a delight! The fried seafood platter was perfectly prepared, the shrimp soup was DELICIOUS. At our table of four diners, everyone raved about everything! The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable and QUIET (no deafening restaurant noise like so many places have now). The service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Prices are remarkably low for the quality and quantity of food they served us.

We lived in Manhattan, Kansas and we drive 2 hours to eat at that peruvian restaurant. Excellent food. I am peruvian and the food is amazing and taste like if you were in Peru! The tamales with banana leaves are my favorite. Overall excellent food, good music and a wonderful family.

The food is authentic, and very fresh. The fried Yucca is delicious in the whole fried fish is a marvel. I recommend it highly. I know it is authentic because I live with the Peruvian and we eat there as often as possible

My wife and I discovered this place and absolutely loved it. I used to live in Peru and enjoy delicious home cooked Peruvian meals on a daily basis for two years. Since returning to the U.S., I have struggled to find that authentic, home cooked taste that distinguished Peruvian food so much for me, even trying a place in NYC and still finding it lacked that quality. Well, in Antojitos del Perú, I have found it. Believe me, this is Peruvian food as Peruvians eat it. The seco de res and lomo saltado were both exceptional, and I plan to return often to try their other dishes.

Delicious and flavorful food. Everything I tried was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu. Kansas City has been in need of a Peruvian restaurant and this is a great one!

Great meal here! The ceviche was fresh and tart, and I particularly enjoyed the large corn kernels. Large portion. Took a star off for thin, tough steak, though it tasted good. The sides were simple but hit the spot. Favorite were the papas rellenas, they were huge and made for a perfect quick breakfast!

Great authentic food and selections! Staff is super nice and prices that won't break the bank especially for the amount of food. I wish I would have taken pictures but the #27 with chicken and steak (ask for it this way you won't be disappointed) was too delicious so I started eating instead. Leave room for dessert and enjoy the inviting and pleasant atmosphere here. It's not far from the highway either. This has been my 5th trip here and had been equally the same each time, I'll keep going back for sure.

Update: Visited for lunch. Have been coming here for several years, less during Covid pandemic. Added a star. Excellent lunch. Ceviche mixto still awesome! Did try a couple new appetizers, the Chorrita a la chalaca (muscles with the big corn and salsa with ceviche lime juice) and the Papa Rellano. Both good, but the muscles were best. Will keep coming, still alot of dishes I have not tried. 3 yrs ago: Have been here a few times for lunch, and again yesterday. Had Ceviche Mixto (again) and empanada. Their ceviche is an excellent dish! Empanada great too. They have a very unique and diverse menu, great ambiance, and I love the food! Prices slightly above average for lunch and better for dinner. I highly recomnend Antojitos and I look forward to visiting for dinner.

When you step into an ethnic restaurant and don't hear English, it only means one thing, that this place is legit. This restaurant is one of those places. Most patrons are family, and seem to have a lot of fun while dining here. I ordered Chicha Morada, Ceviche, Tamal and a seafood mix stuff. Tamal is very good. I think the Ceviche is better than the one I had in Cusco, Peru. Not a huge fan of the seafood mix. But I enjoyed the overall experience. Most people ordered a whole fish, have to try that next time I am here. Highly recommend.
