Cafe Lemont

Best experience so far in this area with my dog sitting down to eat. Excellent food with lots of veggies with chicken salad. They have cake and an amazing eclectic array of tea leaves. Umbrellas at tables for those occasional sun showers- SUCH a nice cute town away from the college. Stopped in after my hike up Mt Nittany

I always take my mother here when she visits State College. It has wonderful owners and a delightfully cozy atmosphere inside and out. If you're looking for whole bean coffee, I go for Grounds for Divorce. I was also pleasantly surprised by the safety precautions they took during COVID. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My husband and I were recommended to go to Café Lamont for breakfast, it was close to the Hilton Garden Inn hotel we were staying at, parking was in the rear, and Covid protocol was in place and worked well, the staff was pleasant and courteous and brought our order out to us where tables are set up socially distant. We ordered bacon egg and cheese on English muffins and coffee and tea it was all so delicious, we returned two more times during our 4 day stay. I ordered the quiche and scones twice. We highly recommend Café Lamont. 👍👍👍

Cafe Lamont is my absoluhe favorite cafe in State college and the surrounding area! I highly recommend the peppermint mocha (get the whipped cream!). They use fresh milk and special toasted beans. Their bakery items are delicious as well. My favorite is the white chocolate cranberry scones. This is the ONLY cafe you can sit outside (and is the cutest one by far)! I recommend this place 1000%.

Superb lunch menu. Daily soup and quiche. Tasty grab-n-go snacks. Espresso drinks with attention to detail. Coffee roasted on-site. Gourmet tea selection. (Culinary and medicinal herb shop across the hall.) Great ambience in a modified Victorian house. Wish they were open later. The area needs more nightlife.
