This is your stereotypical neighborhood old man's bar. Where else can you find Blatz and Schlitz being served? Interior is straight out of the 50's/60's, but you have to love it!
As expected, the prices were reasonable and the service was good
Shot and a beer joint. Inexpensive. No frills. A good counterpoint to Pollyanna across the street (yuppie brewery.) I guess it depends what you're in the mood for.....
Without a doubt, the best bar that ever existed. And there is no irony in that comment. I have had more good times there than anywhere else.

Was here on a Sunday afternoon. Older woman was the bartender and was not only unfriendly, but to the point of being rude.
SECOND REVIEW:
As you can see the owner responded for me to contact him via email and he would compensate me and get the details of my visit. Hence, I emailed him and I have not
I love this local bar. It's been open since 1927.....and not much has changed. I don't think they have a blender, is not that kind of bar. Shot and a beer, and hang out with friends. Owner and tenders are very nice.

Pictures on the wall (also dotted with Al Capone photos, to whom there is apparently also a connection) indicate that it once occupied the building across
Always great! A local treasure! Great service! Eclectic, old school beer selection! A must stop in experience!
Worst experience of my life. I went in for a beer and a good time. I came in to a snotty older bartender and horrible service. I've never felt so out of place at a bar. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
