Boboli

A leisurely Sunday lunch, choice of roast beef, pork (porcheta) or turkey, plus all the trimmings at a very reasonable cost or choose from any of the main menu items. We had a special game terrine and a filo pastry crab salad to start followed by a tuna pizza and the roast porcheta. Sadly no space for desert, so we will have to go back soon! The porcheta was the star item, rolled pork with herbs and a generous helping of vegetables with a huge Yorkshire pudding too.

We’ve been coming to Bobolis for 5 years now and the last few visits have been poor. Every time we come with our son, we’ve been put all alone on another side of the restaurant away from everyone else so there’s no atmosphere. The waitress wasn’t friendly and didn’t even acknowledge my baby. When another table came with a baby she was acknowledging them straight away. The food was ok but over priced for what we got. We’ve noticed the prices have gone up but the food isn’t better and service definitely isn’t worth it. Such a shame as we didn’t feel welcome and weren’t asked if the food was ok or if we wanted any more drinks. Edit; after emailing management we visited again and this time had a very different experience. Food and service were both spot on.

Probably one of the, if not the best Italian restaurants I've been to. We went on a Saturday afternoon where it was relatively quiet but still had a nice atmosphere with a range of table sizes and guests. Extensive menu with again one of the best pizzas I've had. Even the bread and olives were great! All reasonably priced delivered to the table by friendly staff who genuinely seemed to enjoy the food on offer. Can't ask for much more! Highly recommended!
