If there was an opposite to the backrooms, it would be Wendy's located at Beto Junction. You walk in and are instantly greeted by an indistinct decade, one that feels welcoming regardless of who you are. The tone of the dining room is one of friendliness and home, but has an oddly unnerving familiarity to it. You feel like you can't leave, whether that's because you aren't allowed or you don't want to. You feel safely guarded.
Now, go get to the food, it's like McDonald's if McDonald's didn't serve poison. The beef, that's never frozen FYI, is literally the best fast food beef you can buy, and the toppings are given the same treatment. Everything is absolutely wonderful tasting.
Our order was ready fast and everything was there. My only complaint is that I don't think the fries were fresh. Fries that aren't fresh are harder and cool off very fast. Cashier was friendly, helpful, and patient. Dining room and bathroom was clean.
