This was a fun, intimate little restaurant! The food was great. The ambiance perfect, and the staff delightful 😊

I was very disappointed with the product we got considering there were so many wonderful reviews on this place. The quality of food we received was NOT worth $40. I first pulled out a grilled cheese for my child, and the sandwich was wrapped in a parchment like paper and it was dripping in grease from the inside. My hand was also slathered in it. Got two bacon cheeseburgers, one a double and one regular. One was literally leaking condiments, juice, and grease. The other was barely constructed, and all the buns were super soggy. The burgers were the thinnest I’ve ever seen, and it had almost no flavor. I felt like I was eating mustard and bread. The bacon had zero flavor and was chewy. The fries were not salted and also had no flavor, and the onion rings were plain at best. I got a chocolate cream pie and with the first bite it tasted spoiled. It was also obvious that the pie was either imported or baked and frozen to thaw because the crust was soggy and fell apart. On an ending note, the milkshakes were great. We got a chocolate, vanilla, and banana. The staff were nice, the milkshakes were good, but in my opinion McDonald’s burgers taste better.

It is the nostalgia that brings people here! Homer's has been around since 1931. The staff was friendly.

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because my cheeseburger and onion rings were soooo delicious. The waitress was also awesome. I was so very excited to see coconut cream pie because I hadnt had it in a long time. The problem is that my first bite tasted funny but I thought it was me since I hadnt had it in a while. Then after a few more bites I look at it and see something fuzzy so i thought it was my eyes and put my glasses on. Sure enough it was mold. Waitress asked if I wanted something else....uhhhh, no ma'am. First and last time eating there.

When looking for an old school road side diner, Homer's is it! Cool retro decor small eating area. Good service, and food served timely and hot. Fresh! I really liked the onion rings. I didn't try a dessert or malt, which is what I'll be doing on my next trip through Leavenworth. Great history here! Will be back.

I love Holmers , but lately it's been terrible, they close early now and last week went to get dinner and the hamburger patty was so thick and only covered half my bun ( so basically I got half of an uncooked burger) I ask for crispy fries and had to send them back inside and get them cooked more, at the time I didn't realize the burger was only half ,I had called the my order in so they had plenty of time to make my order correctly and tonight I called and they closed at 7 because of graduation..its getting worse there , I think I'm going to have to find a new good hamburger joint ...may 21 ..not to happy with holmers

This place rocks! It's a traditional diner with limited seating, but certainly not limited on flavor. Their single patty burgers are pretty standard and are priced well. The real gems are the ice cream sodas, and the double patty homers special. You can't beat the hometown friendly service and informing atmosphere!
