The sign says they have the best milkshakes. They claim you can eat it with a fork? Well not the day I was there. It was good, but a little on the thin side for any shake. Let alone one with such high claims of thickness. Which was surprising considering they use hand scoop ice cream. I chose blackberry, they used real fruit, and that is usually a top 5 for me. I was lucky enough to have a taste of the black raspberry. I would recommend that flavor over the blackberry. The food was good. The wet fries were interesting. Brown gravy (with veggies) poured over seasoned crinkle fries. Both were on the salty side. So together it was a bit much. They were a fun new thing for me. I doubt I would order them again. Without requesting no salt fries. The restaurant it's self is very cool! Memorabilia from the 50 Era diners. Neon, lighting the silver on the outside beautifully. Fun names for most of the things on the menu. Outdoor seating. Overall, it was a great experience!

Gotta love a great burger, fries and shake! The burger was big and juicy (I should have split it with someone)! Fries were perfectly crispy and plentiful. Chocolate shake was huge and delicious. Atmosphere was really fun with lots of memorabilia from the past and the staff was friendly. Only down side was it was pretty cold in the restaurant but I suppose most people come in in full snow gear so temperature is probably set taking that into consideration. So bundle up if you go in the winter! 59r Diner will be our new Leavenworth tradition!

Was the best meal we had the two weeks we spent in WA. Burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and you could tell it was fresh. Fries were amazing, not too salty and crispy but not dry. I asked for added bacon and avocado. The avocado was beautiful and ripe. They gave me half of one. The milk shake and dessert were to die for. Bottom line, fresh ingredients and great service makes for a perfect experience. The atmosphere was cute too!

A must-have whenever you're in the area - it's worth a stop out of your way! Total 50s style retro diner with great food. Everything was locally sourced and the eggs come from the chickens in their own yard (who also like to come hang out at the outdoor tables)! The sausage and egg sandwich was delicious and great bang for your buck! Plus the shakes were super thick and delightful.

The building alone deserves a 5 star review. My family ate there a few times last summer when we were staying in Plain,WA. Each time we went, everyone went away full and happy. Owner was there 2 out of the 3 visits and was very pleasant. There was a super cool retro vibe. They even had hula hoops outside for anyone willing. You can't miss stopping here if you're near Leavenworth. If it's summer in the Pacific Northwest, eating a big burger and slamming a shake outside at this awesome restored diner will definitely give you a cherished memory.

Loved the 2 waitresses named Flo. Decor = 5 star. Prices = 5 star...and I love a good $ deal. Service = 5 star. Food = big portions but not as great as Guy said on Diners Drive Ins & Dives. You should go as it is a happy place and that is 10 stars.

Definitely a time-capsule located on Route 2. Juicy cheeseburger and fresh onion rings. I loved the dine-in experience was very 1959’! This diner had awesome collages displayed inside the bathroom and diner walls. Super Neat! Flo & Joe team were incredible and attentive. Felt very comfortable and relaxing here.

Food was delicious! Loved the mozzarella sticks featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. The milkshakes and desserts were amazing. Recommend the curly fries over the crinkle cut. Service was a little slow but the food was yummy!
