The food was good. Haven't been able to find good chop suey in a long time around here. Service was slow because they only had one person working the floor. Place really does need a good cleaning. But we'll be back to try other dishes.
Cute, small atmosphere, with flavorful fresh food! My plate is the chicken in garlic sauce lunch special. It was a lot of food, and everything came out fresh. My daughter loved her food as well. We look forward to coming by here again when we are in the area. Service was amazing!

Authentic Asian food that is SO delicious! I actually have this place on my speed dial. Seriously...it's an addiction. Huge portions and cheap lunch specials. Seating is limited so their takeout service is excellent. There is an older Asian lady that has worked there for years, as a waitress. Her husband passed away so she went to work to make ends meet. Please tip her well...I even tip her if I have an order to go. She is the sweetest soul and works very hard.

After reading reviews, my family and I decided to drive 45 minutes here from Galveston. When you drive up, you can immediately see how small it is, which gave my mother-in-law pause. It can't be good if it's so small. I just shrugged and said the reviews were good.
When we walked in, we were greeted and our server (who I later learned was Lucy) greeted us warmly and did not balk at there being 7 of us. She helped us move a table over and got us drinks.
We first ordered cream cheese puffs and mozzarella sticks. I'm kind of a connoisseur of cream cheese puffs (and their various other names) and these were delicious and hot. Our biggest mistake was letting our three big kids order an entree each. We ordered three sweet and sour chicken and there was enough food for at least six people. The chunks of chicken were huge and moist inside the breading and my kids were very happy, including my 4 year old who originally wanted chicken nuggets but they were out. I ordered House Special Lo Mein, my spouse ordered Beef and Mushroom, and my mother-in-law ordered shrimp and asparagus. All of them were delicious and we had SO MUCH LEFTOVER FOOD, which Lucy packaged herself - all while serving other tables and managing the constant stream of takeout orders.
If I had a complaint, which I don't, it would be that our food came out in a staggered manner, but I'm pretty sure there were only a couple people in the kitchen and Lucy running tables so I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. All this and the price for 7 people to eat was right around $100 before tip which is very reasonable if not downright cheap!
If you're reading reviews you'll see Lucy's name come up a bunch, so when the ticket came I checked and sure enough, it was Lucy who was serving us. She really makes the place, being very kind and welcoming and while managing everything with skill and poise. I would definitely go back here.
If you are looking for great Asian food this is the place!! Such a great restaurant with friendly staff!! The food was delicious I ordered general Taos chicken and chicken and shrimp lo mein both were delicious! The chicken was tender but crispy on the outside and the noodles and veggie were all made fresh! The service was delightful and very attentive. New favorite spot!

If you don't like Wong's then you need to go see a doctor because there is clearly something "wong" with you. This place is really really good and the portions are really, really large.
We always order the cheese puffs for an appetizer… so delicious and full of cream cheese. For our entrees, my husband always gets the moo goo gai pan, which he says is the best he has had in the entire area, and he is ultra particular. My favorite entrees are the Curry Chicken, Sautéed Chicken & Shrimp, and Hunan Chicken. All so fresh and tasty!

Came for American Chinese food, but surprised by authentic Cantonese food, I gave the beef flat noodles 4.5 star as a Cantonese. Service is nice and atmosphere is the quiet and peaceful, reminds me the good old days canteen.
Love Wong's! We've had dine-in and takeout. The cheese puffs, orange chicken and Hunan pork are especially tasty. The portions are huge
Absolutely amazing food and Lucy is so friendly and welcoming. Everything we had at the table was excellent and the portion sizes were great! We were all impressed.
Amazing food!!! Super nice employees. They brought our food right out to our car and when we paid by card they brought it back and had cleaned our card. They are very clean and careful. The portion sizes are very big and btw the pork fried rice is sooooo good!!!
I loved it, First time here. ! Delicious food overall, wonton soup and cream puffs were delicious. The orange and sesame chicken were delicious too. And the service was perfect, nice and patient. Will come again! Disregard the 1 stars totally worth it and I am picky!
