Great food! I love going here eating my brunch on a day off from work. Staff is great and helpful. It is always busy so prepare to wait if you have a big to large group. The scones here are very good and my favorite is the Boss breakfast. It is always consistent on the taste and texture of their foods. I recommend this cafe.

Been eating at Sill's for over 30 plus yrs. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere. Employees have always been really nice, willing to help you with any and all. Food comes super fast so there isn't long waiting no matter how packed it is. Food is always delicious. My #1 place to get my breakfast needs and of course, I always have to order a couple scones to go so I can have a little snack later in the day.

I went to Sill’s for my first time and they give a pretty excellent diner experience. The scones are perfect, I would go back just for the scones.The rest of the food was good, but not memorable. We had about a 40 minute wait time and there were many people that ended up leaving because of the wait. I would be sure to come when you’re not in a hurry. You can tell that this place is definitely a local favorite. The staff was also very kind and attentive- 5 star customer service. It was a nice experience.

I loved the steak and eggs (over easy) with hashbrowns. The steak was juicy and came with a scone but the nice waitress said I could have toast instead. She served it freshly toasted and nicely buttered.

What a disappointment.. I came from Salt Lake City to enjoy a good breakfast I ordered the bacon and eggs and I asked that my potatoes be cooked crispy with cheese on top. The first time they were delivered with soggy potatoes and no cheese so I asked that the waitress remedy the problem. Not only did she give me attitude but she brought me out a plate of deep fried overcooked potatoes with a sprinkle of cheese that were unedible. Someone owes me gas money. Then I asked to speak with the manager and my waitress said they didn't have one. 🤯

The food here is absolutely amazing! I went with my parents and we all loved it. I got the Sill's steak sandwich, and my mother ate half and said she should've gotten it as well. We all enjoyed the scones as well.

This is my favorite breakfast place. Ask for their scones! Just thinking about it is making me want to get one right now. Definitely a great atmosphere. Staff was very nice. Food was really good. I’ll be going back often. My kids loved it too.

I had seen advertisements for this place so we decided to give it a try. I got the bacon potato soup and a scone. Both were very good. My friend got the 2 egg breakfast and she said the hashbrowns were some of the best. We came around 11 and it was really busy. We had to wait in the car until they called us. So if you have a lot of kids or older people with you maybe go in and check if you need to leave your name before you unload everyone into the restaurant because there is no seating for waiting. It was good but very loud since there was so many people and we were not able to talk to each other over the noise. I would like to come back when it is less busy but I don't know if they have a slow time.

Our latest visit was less than stellar, the kids pancakes and bacon were good. The grilled ham and cheese sandwich with the english chips were great. But I had the spicy chicken sandwich, fries were fine, but the chicken was dry and the buns dwarfed the chicken patty.
Over all the service was good, but I would be embarrased to serve that meal here.
We had the Salisbury steak with a salad and vegetables, it was fabulous.
I had the Chicken fried steak and it was the best I have had. Tasted like it was made fresh, soft but firm on inside, crispy outside and great tasting breading. The sauce was flavorful and.just the right consistency as well as no salt taste like you get at a lot of places
To top it off we had an awesome scene to finish our meal.
The wait staff was nice and attentive and not overbearing.Great place and is worth going out of your way to Layton.

Visited here for the first time with my wife, who has been here many times. I genuinely enjoyed it, I had the BLT with fries, and I really enjoyed the fries. The BLT was good, but I really couldn't taste the tomatoes for some reason, making it slightly bland to me. I had a taste of the scone my wife ordered, and it was mouth watering, I definitely recommend trying it if you visit. Our server, I wish I had caught her name so I could give her kudos. Even though I was in a slightly bad mood, her up-beat attitude and excellent service made me leave with a smile. The time between ordering our food and receiving was exactly right. I will come back and absolutely recommend this Cafe to anyone I know who is hungry or looking for an authentic Cafe experience.

Just had the most amazing experience at Sill’s! Nicki was our waitress and she was so attentive and kind! Our food was incredible! We are here visiting my son from Idaho and he said we had to come here! Now going, I totally get it! The scone with honey butter is a must! Their prices are reasonable and our party of 5 got our food in about 5 minutes! Very highly recommend!! ♥️♥️

You must try their fish and chips. Fresh, crispy, and delicious fish, and the chips just melted in my mouth. Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. My wife and I were very pleased. They were fantastic. They were mostly eaten before I thought to take this picture.

Aside from the gravy which had waaaaaaayyy too much pepper in it, the food here was absolutely incredible. Fantastically fun family food facility.

Biscuits and Gravy with S.O.S., One egg over easy and Link Sausage. Is there anything better? Oops, great cup of coffee and a Scone with Honey Butter. Yes!

Great, home cooked breakfasts.
I had scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns with s-o-s - outstanding!
Service was great, friendly and professional.
They served a pastry-bread the size of a manhole cover with amazing honey butter that I could not stop eating.
Highly recommend Sill's! Word of warning - bring your hunger.
Coffee was excellent!
